Hey guys! When I was first introduced to AXIS-Y Climate Inspired Skin Care, what immediately drew me in was the idea of acknowledging that climate has an effect on our skin. Living in the climate that I personally do - one with extremely dry and cold winters and quite humid and hot summers - I am well versed in just how much climate effects my skin and how specifically I have to adjust my skin care to climate. All of this to say that I was very interested in trying out the AXIS-Y products and I got the opportunity to try out three products specifically chosen for my skin type. This was particularly good timing because a combination of 2020 burnout and consistent mask wearing definitely put my skin into a place where it needed these types of products.

Hey guys! If you saw my post last month about The Case Full Of Seoul*, you may remember just how excited I was to really get into using the 9wishes Rice Foaming Cleanser that was included in the set. The fact I'm a complete and total cleanser junkie - seriously, you should see my bathroom - combined with the recommendations of some skin care influencers that I genuinely trust really had me super excited to get this onto my skin.

As a beauty blogger, I have a lot of people in my life asking me for advice when it comes to makeup and skin care, detailing their issues and skin type and what they're looking for. I can tell you with 100% honesty that when it comes to recommendations, CeraVe is probably the brand I recommend the most to the people in my life outside of this blog. There are several reasons for this, which I'll get into a little bit later in this post, but thus far friends and family members have taken my advice and had great results with the products. So, with that being said, I felt like really digging into the cleansers (which are probably my most recommended from the CeraVe range) and making really specific recommendations seemed like a really good idea.

I have to say, lately I have definitely been changing my tune a little bit when it comes to cleansers. For several years now, I've avoided foaming cleansers because traditional North American foaming cleansers have always been really stripping on my skin and I never trusted them not to damage my moisture barrier. Recently, though, I've been drawn more and more to Asian cleansers, most of which tend to be foaming, and I've been seeing great results with them. Most recently, I picked up the Shiseido Senka Perfect Whip Foam Cleanser, which is a bit of a cult product as far as I can tell and is starting to pop up in local Walmart stores as they extend their selection of Asian beauty products.

Hey guys! I'm super excited for today's review because I'm firmly falling back into Korean skin care products, inspired by the fact that local stores seem to be carrying more and more Kbeauty products now - above and beyond just masks. Recently, I saw the CosRx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser at my local Walmart and, since it had quietly been on my radar for a while now I pretty much immediately grabbed it. Cleansers are, admittedly, kind of my thing so it's really not hard to talk me into trying them out and being back on the Kbeauty bandwagon I just basically had to have it. I did actually list this amongst my favorites in my Skin Care Diaries post from yesterday, so if you haven't check that out you definitely should!

Hey guys! Today I want to talk about some new and new-to-me products from one of those brands that quietly exists in my day-to-day beauty and self care routine but maybe doesn't get enough love. CeraVe products have been a staple for me for quite some time now and they're pretty much always at hand, but recently I've had the chance to try out some products from their SA line and it really couldn't have come at a better time.

I have to admit - I'm a bit of a cleansing balm fanatic at the moment and I sometimes feel like I'm determined to try every one that's out there on the market. Why? Because, as I've said a million times before, I'm a little bit obsessed with my cleansing routine and I really want it to feature the best possible product. Obviously, it's no surprised that I picked up the Physicians Formula The Perfect Matcha Cleansing Balm as soon as I saw it in store. It was always going to happen. I suspect that we're going to start seeing more and more cleansing balms coming at the drugstore in the near future and I am really, really excited about that fact - I'll almost certainly review them all.

So, how does it stack up? Keep reading for more!

I feel like cleansers are sort of the unsung heroes of the skin care world - but if you've followed my blog for a while now, you'll know that for me they're not ony one of my favorite types of skin care products but also one of the most important in my routine. My skin is only at its best when I'm maintaining a regular and effective cleansing routine. Of course, that means that I want to try all of the cleansers. One that has been on my list for quite some time but I've only recently picked up is the Ole Henriksen Uncover The Truth 3-In-1 Melting Cleanser. I've loved some of the other Truth products from Ole Henriksen, particularly the Truth Serum, so I was eager to give this one a go!

Whenever I get the chance to try out new cleansers, I'm always excited about it. More than anything else - even all of the actives I use in my skin care routine - I find that maintaining a good cleansing routine that cleans the skin without stripping it or damaging my moisture barrier has made the biggest difference in the overall appearance and health of my skin. Recently, I got the chance to try out three hydrating cleansers from CeraVe, and I was 100% all in.

I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of collaborations with influencers in the beauty community and I've basically decided that I won't buy them, though there are a couple of exceptions to that. The most glaring exception, which is a product that I knew I absolutely HAD. TO. HAVE. as soon as it was announced was the Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse. It took forever to come to Canada, and I was about ready to beg someone to pick me up one in the UK and ship to it to me, but I finally found it on the shelf in my local drugstore, so I picked it up immediately and got to testing.

I'm such a cleanser junkie that it's kind of ridiculous. Cleansers and pack masks are the only skin care products that I keep in my bathroom and I still manage to have an entire shelf of skin care. I know, I know, I'm excessive. As soon as I saw that the L'Oreal Skin Expert Pure-Clay Cleansers were being released, I was intrigued... so clearly I had to pick up two. Right? Right? Anyway, I've been using these for a few weeks now and I'm honestly surprised at how different the two are.

I'm currently on a mission to find the perfect cleanser for my skin. If you've read cleanser reviews I've done before, you'll probably know that the cleansing step is actually one of my favorites - and can be one of the most difficult for me when it comes to finding a formula that I really love. I've completely cut foaming cleansers out of my routine - they strip my skin and leave it feeling tighter than it needs to be - and have really zeroed in on what I'm looking for. Basically, what I want is a cleanser that's going to perfectly strike the balance where my skin feels clean, but also nourished. Not too much to ask, right?

After doing a little bit of digging around the internet, I decided to try out the Yes To Coconut Ultra Hydrating Créme Cleanser and I'm all set to review it for you guys!
