IPSY SPOILERS: August 2015

by - August 05, 2015

I have to tell you guys... I feel like Ipsy has really stepped up their monthly themes by having the Ipsy girls do these photoshoots and Behind The Scenes videos recently. They've also made me absolutely love Katy from Lustrelux and Desi Perkins, I have to admit. Anyway, this month's theme is Prep School and I was surprised to see Michelle Phan in the video, because somewhere along the way I kinda forgot that Ipsy is hers since it's kinda been all about the Ipsy girls for a while. I love the Prep School theme and there is a massive selection of products on the list that will be included in this month's bag, which can either be a great thing because there's something for everyone, or it can just magnify the disappointment. I feel like last year's September bag was the beginning of a string of disappointing bags for me, set's see how this year's back to school bag goes, shall we?

MY BAG

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Elegantly Wasted
I saw this nail polish in the first sneak peek as well as in the BTS video and I wanted it. I love the looks of the shade and I love trying out new polish brands. I absolutely loved the nail polish that I got last month (look for it on the blog next week!) and I'm optimistic about this one!

Skone Cosmetics Luxe Doubler Eye/Lip Pencil in Wine
A liner for both lips and eyes is very fascinating to me, but I think it could definitely work with a wine shade. I have a feeling that getting this bag is going to throw me into fall style, so I'm excited about that! Bring me all your vampy lips, Ipsy! Bring 'em!

noyah Natural Lipstick
I actually saw this applied in the BTS video along with the Skone lipliner and it was a really pretty look that would actually work for the rest of the summer, so I think this is going to be a very wearable lipstick shade. At least, I hope so!

Marsk Pro Line Eye Shadow Brush
YES. Gimme all the brushes, Ipsy! I've actually been noticing that I have a TON of blending brushes, but not a lot of packing brushes, so I'm hoping that this is a really dense brush that will pack colour onto the lid!

Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil Of Morocco Oil Treatment
I actually really love the deep conditioning mask from this range that comes in the little foil packets, I find it really hydrates my hair without making it feel weighed down, so I'm hopeful for this oil treatment. I already know it's going to smell AMAZING, which already makes it a win.

I thought about doing a Dream Bag this month, but I'm actually pretty much over the moon with what I'll be getting, so it seems pretty unnecessary. You guys know that I love when my bags are makeup heavy, I love getting full size nail polishes, and I love getting tools so this is kind of perfect for me. I also think the bag itself is really cute this month - definitely on theme - and I always count that as a plus as well.

Have you checked your Glam Room yet? I'd love to hear what you're getting in your bag, what you are hoping to get, or what you wish you had gotten! Let me know in the comments!
