MAY MAKEUP WISHLIST!
I have to admit that I've been feeling a little bit uninspired lately. I think it must have something to do with the weather change, which distracts me and pulls my attention away. Either way, I hope you will bear with me if my posts are a little less frequent than they have been for the past several months! Of course, as a massaive makeup junkie, I'm always looking around to see what's new and exciting on the makeup market - and let's be honest, there's ALWAYS something new and exciting - so I decided to do a new series that I will hopefully do once a month which will highlight some of the new products out there that are exciting to me and why they catch my attention!
If you're interested in seeing what I'm eyeing up this month, keep reading!
Honestly, I haven't even heard anything about this palette, but I knew that previous Sephora Collection Filter Eyeshadow palettes have been pretty well received and the sort of washed out shades of this palette feel right up my alley - and surprisingly unlike any other palette I have in my collection. I feel like this is a great price point, the packaging is pretty, the shades are lovely... and I mean, really, what more could you ask for? I have a feeling I'll be picking this one up very soon!
Honestly, I'm not sure I can quite justify this purchase since my blush collection is so large and I really don't even have space to store this. That being said, though, I think this is an absolutely gorgeous palette with full size pans of the much loved Benefit boxed blushes. It has Dandelion, Dallas, Coralista, and Rockateur blushes as well as Hoola Bronzer. Yeah... even though I said I can't justify it, it's just SO PRETTY and I'm still thinking about picking it up. My name is Trysh and I have a blush problem.
Honestly, I don't think that this would have jumped out at me if not for influencers, but a few that I seriously trust have had nothing but good things to say about this. I've been thinking about trying more cream contouring and I feel like MUFE is probably a good place to start, since it is a brand so loved by makeup artists and with such a good reputation for quality. Ahem. Can you see me sitting here convincing myself to buy this?
I'm not going to buy this. I just wanted to put that out there, if only to cement it for myself. This highlighter palette is absolutely stunning and I pretty much drool all over it every time I see it, which is why it's on my Wishlist, but I don't think I would get enough use out of it to justify the purchase. That being said... I would just sit and swatch this all over myself constantly just for the prettiness. I think this would be a better purchase for a real highlight junkie and that's not me... but man does it tempt me anyway!
Honestly, I didn't think there was going to be much from The Estée Edit that was going to tempt me, but these Barest Blushes became an instant want after seeing Tarababyz rave about them on Youtube. Her reviews are so well constructed and informed that I seriously trust her. And she loves these. And I love this shade, and the packaging and and and. I have a feeling this will be coming home with me quite soon!
Even more likely to be coming home with me is this The Barest Lip Color in In The Flesh. Not only is the shade really beautiful, but I really can't seem to resist a really pretty tube that I'll want to carry with me in my purse. Yes, I am definitely the target market of cute packaging. I admit it. I actually don't remember what I've heard about these lipsticks from other people so far, but I did swatch and I quite liked the feel of them.
Just a short and sweet list for this month, but I'd love to hear what you guys are lusting after in the land of beauty right now in the comments!
Thanks for reading!
