SEPHORA VIB SALE: Wishlist + Recommendations

by - November 02, 2016

One of my favorite things to do on this blog is to put together wish lists - and what better time to put together a wish list when it's just about time for the fall Sephora VIB sale? Between 20% your purchases and all of the great Value Sets that are out for the holidays, it feels like the time to shop - whether it's for yourself or to get a jump on your holiday shopping. I did a little online browsing and came up with a list of products and sets that I want for myself as well as some of my own Sephora favorites that I would put a big thumbs up on and put together one great big list of my VIB sale picks!

Check it out!

Kat Von D Everlasting Mini Liquid Lipstick Set - With Discount: $49.60 ($62 Reg.)
I mean... How cute is this set? I really do love this formula, but a lot of the shades are ones that I wouldn't use often enough to justify buying the full size, but having a little set like this with some really wearable shades as well as some really out there shades would be absolutely perfect. Also, at under $50, I think this would be well worth it.

Stila Stay All Day, Sparkle All Night Set - With Discount: $40.80 ($51 Reg)
This is actually probably my favorite liquid lipstick formula and I absolutely love all of the shades in this set, so this is a must purchase for me this season, especially at the sale price. I find all of these shades to be really wearable for me and I think I'd get a lot of use out of them, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is still in stock come sale time!

BECCA Blushed With Light Palette - With Discount: $32.80 ($41 Reg.)
I've yet to get my hands on any BECCA blushes, but this set is not only a really good price but also a really good selection of shades that I'm sure I'd get some definite use out of. With the discount, this is an absolute steal!

tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Palette Color Wheel -With Discount: $45.60 ($57 Reg.)
This isn't the first wish list I've put this palette on and I'm actually kind of amazed that it's still in stock on the Sephora website. This is such a great selection of shades and I really do love this blush formula, so it seems kind of like a no brainer.

Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation - With Discount $54.40 ($68 Reg.)
This is a foundation that I've only tried samples of - but one that I completely love the look of. I think the only time I could really justify the expense is during the sale. $54 is still pretty steep for a foundation, in my opinion, but this one is so good on my skin that it would likely be well worth it.

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder Compact -With Discount $38.40 ($48 Reg.)
This is another product that I've had my eye on for a long time - the number of times I've swatched it is pretty damn ridiculous - but the cost has really stopped me from picking it up. Again, this is probably the only time I could justify it to myself.

Sephora Collection Mini Cream Lip Stain Set -With Discount $12 ($15 Reg.)
I've actually been dying to try more shades in this formula, because I absolutely love it in the one shade I do own, and this little set is so affordable that it seems like the perfect time to try out some more shades. They're pretty small, but at this price and since I'm just trying them out, that doesn't bother me at all.

I've wanted to try the Moonstone Shimmering Skin Perfecter for a long, long time but I wasn't ready to invest in a full size because I know it's pretty intense and I'm not sure how it'll look on my skin, so I was dying for them to come out with this set in this shade, and now that they did it's already in my basket and waiting to be purchased.

TATCHA Kyoto Cleanse - With Discount $25.60 ($32 Reg.)
I've also wanted to try TATCHA for quite a while and I feel like this little set would have the two things I'm most curious about, specifically the cleansing oil, so this is a good time to try the brand. These small sets are some of my favorite for trying out new products that are a little more expensive than I'm willing to gamble on a full size with.

Drunk Elephant nightbright Set -With Discount $28.80 ($36 Reg.)
The hype around Drunk Elephant has been pretty high for the past several months and these are definitely two of the products I've been hearing the most about, so this set is pretty much perfect to try out the brand for the first time - especially at under $30!

Atelier Cologne Nécessaire Nomade III - With Discount $41.60 ($52 Reg.)
Recently I've gotten Atelier Cologne samples with my online Sephora orders and all of them have really impressed me with the richness and depth of fragrance, so I'd love to get my hands on this set - with has travel sized sprays - so I could really give them a go, since I kind of hate the sample packaging and it keeps me from using them very often.

TokyoMilk Dark Fragrance Wardrobe Discovery Set - With Discount $44 ($55 Reg.)
I've loved every scent I've ever sniffed from TokyoMilk Dark and I actually really wanted to pick up this wardrobe last year, but it was sold out by the time I got around to shopping for it. I love these bottles, I love that there are so many different scents, and I think I'd pretty much want to bathe in all of them.

I actually featured this in my last wish list, because it was sold out on Sephora for pretty much ever, but it finally came back in stock and I got it in my hot little hands. I absolutely think this palette is amazing. Not only is the shadow formula absolutely gorgeous, but the she shade selection is perfect. If you haven't picked this up yet, I highly suggest it.
HONORABLE MENTION: Buxom Customized Eyeshadow Palettes - the formula is fantastic and you can create anything you want.

tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara - With Discount $22.40 ($28 Reg)
There really aren't a lot of high end mascaras that I mess with, but I feel like tarte really, really knows how to do mascara. For a long time, their Gifted mascara was my favorite, but almost as soon as I tried this one there was a shift and I fell completely in love. If you're in the market for a high end mascara, this would top my recommendation list.
HONORABLE MENTION: Benefit Roller Lash Mascara - this is another high end mascara that I absolutely think is worth the money.

BITE Beauty The Perfect Bite Set -With Discount $23.20 ($29 Reg)
Honestly, this is one of my favorite lipstick purchases in quite a while. I think the shade selection is really great and I absolutely adore the formula. This is an extra great way to try out the Amuse Bouche lipsticks for the first time as well.
HONORABLE MENTION: Too Faced Merry Kissmas The Ultimate Liquified Lipstick Set - I don't actually have this set, but I do have products in both of these formulas and a couple of these shades and these are really some of the best. Great buy!

Clinique Cheek Pop Blush -With Discount $23.20 ($29 Reg)
This is my favorite blush formula and I've recommended it more times that I can count, but I'm gonna go ahead and do it again. My personal favorite shade is Heather Pop, which is a pretty mauve shade that looks really natural on the cheeks, but there's a whole range of great shades in this line.
HONORABLE MENTION:  Too Faced Love Flush Blush - My favorite shade is Baby Love, but I actually love every shade in this line. There really is something for everyone.

Peter Thomas Roth Mask Sampler Kit - With Discount $24.80 ($32 Reg)
I love love love this kit, I really do, and I think it's such a great buy to get to really try out all of the different masks that Peter Thomas Roth offers. I really think there'll be something for everyone in here and if you're a fan of masks then I think this is a must buy. And really, at under $25 for 6 really high end masks, I think this is absolutely a steal.

CLEAN Rollerball Layering Collection -With Discount $18.40 ($23 Reg)
I'm actually a huge fan of CLEAN fragrances, which I don't really think I mention so much here on the blog. They are, though, one of my most reached for fragrance brands because they're soft and really easy to wear. I think this is a great set to keep, but also a really great stocking stuffer set as well. The only bummer for me is that this doesn't include CLEAN Cashmere, which is my favorite, but that's a small nitpick and this is really affordable!

I decided at the last minute that I should add a few more recommendations of some of my staple favorite products from Sephora that might not be as exciting as sets and HG favorites, but are still amazing products... Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stains (specifically Marvelous Mauve), the Sephora Collection Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer, the Anastasia Brow Wiz, the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer, the NUDESTIX Lip & Cheek Pencil, the Marc Jacobs Poutliner Long Wear Lip Pencil, and the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer are all favorites of mine and I feel like you can do no wrong in picking them up!

So there you have it... A bunch of a things I want and a handful of things that I think are definitely worth checking out during the VIB sale if you've never tried them.

NOW I wanna know what's on your list - both wishes and recommendations - because there's way too many things for one person to try, or even to notice, so I'd love to hear what you're looking to pick up this time around or what you think I should pick up!

Thanks for reading!
