ACCESORIES: Dead Soxy Socks Review

by - January 22, 2018

Hey guys! I've got something a little bit different for you guys here on the blog today, but I'm actually really excited about it. You probably don't know this about me - because how would you? - but I love socks with cute patterns on them. I don't know what it is, but most of my wardrobe is really simple and I'm not really a print kind of a person anywhere other than my socks. Recently, I was given a chance to try out a brand called Dead Soxy and I was super excited about it because when I checked out their website I found that the patterns were fun but really wearable.

For more about my experience with Dead Soxy socks, keep reading!

When you check out the Dead Soxy website, the claims about their socks are pretty impressive and I was definitely determined to test their claims. They claim the socks won't slip or fall during wear, that they'll never shrink or fade, and that they're comfortable and versatile. Because socks tend to get dingy and lose their shape, I was definitely eager to see whether they lived up to those claims, but also because no show socks tend to slip that was another claim I wanted to put to the test.

Women's No Show Sock in Harlow*
First of... How cute is this pattern? Of the two pairs of socks I got to try out, these were definitely the most exciting to me looks wise because they're right up my alley. I love the combination of the turquoise, deep teal and beige. I really like the way that these socks feel. They have the softness that I'm always drawn to in my socks, but they also have what feels like a more substantial thread count that makes them feel a little bit more substantial and like they won't curl up or fall apart.

My favorite thing about these socks, though, how they fit. They really conform well to the fit and cover a large surface are to stay in place while still being really comfortable. Another huge plus is the rubber stopper on the heel that keeps them from sliding down. I've owned no-show socks that have that type of thing in them before, but this is by far the best one I've ever tried. It's fairly large and in a criss cross pattern so that it holds the sock, but doesn't add bulk and discomfort. I believe it's this addition that makes these socks live up to the claim that they won't slip. I've even worn these in mukluks, which are notorious for sliding my socks entirely off my feet, and they stayed put.

Overall, I'm a little bit in love with these socks and I want them in basically every pattern.

Women's Socks in The Westwood*
This design is inspired by California - and as soon as I read that, I could totally see it. Admittedly, these weren't my favorite socks at first as far as the colours are concerned, but I was pretty much immediately won over by how absolutely soft and comfortably these socks are. These ones are actually softer, in my opinion, than the no-shows and I just absolutely love how they feel on my feet. I've actually been wearing them quite often since I've had them because I just love how they feel on my feet.

As you can probably see in the photo, these have a slightly different weave around the feet, which I find really helps to hold them in place on my foot. I really feel like you can feel the quality with these sons. They aren't sheer at all and they have a weight to them that makes them feel like they're higher quality than a lot of other printed or novelty socks. There's also a bit of cushion to them, which just adds to how genuinely nice these are to wear.

Overall, I'm really happy with these socks and I've been checking out their website at some of the other patterns. Highest on my wish list? The Rowan is a super cute navy blue sock with red polka dots and detailing and I want them on my feets! I really think that you can't go wrong with these, because they are genuinely high quality socks that I think will really surprise people with how genuinely good they feel on your feet.
