Sample Killah Update #1

by - July 09, 2014

So the first week of July is officially over, which means it's time for my first update on my progress with Sample Killah. I'm feeling pretty good about it, even though a day of pool partying, bbqing, too much grownup punch, and UFC fights sidetracked my sample killing and sent me into the summer cold of doom. I'm still trudging along at my own pace, hoping to get through these samples with perhaps a little time to spare? Probably not. But I think I can, I think I can, I think I can make it... even if I have to get creative at the end of the day.

PLAN OF ATTACK
I thought about it and decided that since I had been hoarding these samples for so long, I wanted to make good use out of them and get a good try - so I'm not using them up in one go and I'm using all of them for their intended purpose. I don't have a HUGE number of samples, so I figure I can do it this way and still have hope of actually making it through this. I'm not entirely sure how that's going to work out, but I'm actually making a pretty decent dent in things and definitely getting a feel for at least a couple of things that I might want to try in full size.

Keep reading for a closer look at my progress.

TOTAL KILL COUNT: 12

Overall, I'm feeling pretty good about my count so far. I've seen the number of foil packets go down a fair bit and I've been trying to consistently use the bigger deluxe samples in hopes that I'll get through them by the end of the month as well. I have a feeling that I may have to get a little creative in the way that I'm using certain things at the end of this in order to get through them (I'm looking at you, DermaE Microdermabrasion Scrub!) but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

If anyone is interested, you can still join up until July 10, 2014, as long as you use up at least 1 sample and make your first update before the deadline. Just head over to KalynLord.com and sign up. I'm actually really having a good time with it and I know that I'll be really glad at the end of the month when my collection of samples is diminished - and ready to be replenished.
