IPSY SPOILERS: January 2015
Does anyone else who gets Ipsy sometimes get it in their head when they see initial spoilers that they absolutely NEED to get one of the products in their bag or it's going to be the worst bag ever? Or is that just me and my overdramatic brain? Probably the latter. Still, one of the spoilers this month featured the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer and I really, really wanted to get it in my bag. I love that primer, I really do. I actually just finished up another little sample size that I had kicking around (which will probably be mentioned in my next Empties post, unless I accidentally threw it out instead of throwing it in the empties basket) and I was seriously bummed, so I was pretty eager to get hooked up with another sample. Sadly, here is my glam room and there is no Laura Mercier primer located there. Sigh. I feel like this month's bad is tainted by it's absence. Either way, I'm still getting the bag.
Anyway, keep reading to take a look at my Glam Room as well as what else is on offer this month.
1. Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush
I love brushes, we know this, and I actually was hoping that this would end up in my bag, so I'm pretty happy about this one.
2. Hikari Cosmetics Mechanical Eye Liner in Slate Grey
So. This is another eyeliner in another subscription service. At least it's not black?
3. La Fresh Eco-Beauty Be Good. Good Day. Day Moisturizer
I'm actually kinda tickled to get this one. According to Ipsy.com, it's a 0.5oz sample, which I feel is a pretty good size, and it has some really good ingredients.
4. Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eyeshadow
All I can really say about this is that I hope it's better quality than the last Pacifica eyeshadow that Ipsy included in their bags.. because that one sucked. Legit, sucked.
5. Probelle Into The Blue Lacquer
I can't decide if I'm going to like this shade or not, but I do decidedly like getting nail polishes in my subscription bags and boxes, so I'll call it a win.
6. Astrida Naturals Orange Mint Lip Balm with Shea Oil
7. BellaPierre Shimmer Powder
8. Coastal Scents Liquid Eyeliner
9. Hey Honey Take It Off! Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask (I wanted this last time it was included and didn't get it. Sigh.)
10. J.Cat Beauty Fantabulous Gel Eye Liner
11. Jouer Essential Lip Enhancer (WHY NOT ME? Wish this was in my bag.)
12. Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Moisturizer
13. Laura Mercier Foundation Primer ( :( )
14. Lash Food Phyto-Medic Lash Enhancer
15. MALIN+GOETZ Mojito Lip Balm (I've gotten this before. It's more like a clear gloss and it has no applicator.)
16. Manna Kadar Cosmetics Sheer Glow
17. Nourish Organic Renewing Eye Cream (I recieved this recently and have been using it. Not bad.)
18. Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush
19. Swissco Electroplated Eyelash Curler
20. Teadora Rainforest at Dusk Nourishing Body Cream
21. Velvet 59 Velvet Rose Lip Gloss

Overall, there are some really good options in this month's bags, but there are also quite a few repeats which is always a bummer - especially when this is the second time they hit my wishlist and I didn't get them.
Can you tell that I am seriously tainted by the lack of the Laura Mercier primer in my Glam Room? I'm not sure if I can separate my feelings of disappointment about that from my overall feelings about my bag this month. We'll see how I feel about it when it arrives, I suppose!
