Recently I had the opportunity to try out some of the favorites from the Live Clean hair care line and the one that I had absolutely been dying to try was the Apple Cider line. For a while  now, I've been thinking that I need to start using a clarifying shampoo to really in there and be rid of the product residue and the things that most shampoos just don't get, and I'd heard fantastic things about this particular one. I was also quite interested in the Ultra Light Conditioner, because with my fine hair the weight and rinsability of my conditioner really does make a difference!

If you're interested in my thoughts on these products, keep reading!

Live Clean Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo*
Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo is a gentle daily shampoo for oily hair and a weekly deep cleanser to clarify all hair types. Made with Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar to gently remove dulling residue and certified organic botanicals of Chamomile and Sunflower Seed extract to restore moisture and shine.

First off, I have to tell you that while I was worried that this would have an apple cider vinegar scent that would make me wanna rip my hair off, it absolutely does not. This has a bright, fresh apple scent that is absolutely lovely. I find that this does a really good job of deeply cleaning my hair without stripping it and leaving it a tangled mess. Before conditioner, it does feel a little bit squeaky, but not to the point where I feel like it's gone too far with the clarifying. I also feel like this has been good for my scalp, which gets very dry and itchy at this time of year. I still need to use my scalp specific shampoo once a week, but I think this is doing a good job with my scalp as well.

Live Clean Apple Cider Ultra Light Conditioner*
Live Clean Apple Cider Ultra Light Conditioner made with Bragg’s® Apple Cider Vinegar is formulated to gently condition and restore moisture and shine while helping to remove dulling residue.

I have a kind of complicated relationship with this conditioner. I like it, I really do, and I suspect that come summertime this will end up my go to, but I feel like it might be a little too light for consistent winter use for me. That being said, I do find that this leaves my hair really soft and manageable without any residue whatsoever, and I haven't noticed any of the typical static issues that I generally have in the winter with a light conditioner. It, like the shampoo, smells like delicious fresh apples, as well - which bears repeating. Overall, I think this is a really good conditioner for fine to normal hair, but might not pack quite enough punch for winter or very thick or coarse hair. I think this would also be a great option for people with oily hair and I have every intention of making my boyfriend try it out, because I think it would be magic for his fine, naturally oily hair.

Overall, the Live Clean line of products continues to impress me. Like the Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner that I previously reviewed, I'm very impressed overall with both of these products.
