REVIEW: CLEAN Ultimate Beach Day Eau De Toilette
You guys, I'm super excited about this review! As soon as I saw that there was a new CLEAN fragrance coming out and it was called Ultimate Beach Day, I was 100% on board to try it. In case you didn't already know, CLEAN makes some of my favorite fragrances and I'm always up to try something new from them. I've always found their fragrances to be... well, clean. There's a crispness to the notes so they never feel overwhelming, but they're really well thought out in what they're trying to evoke. Since CLEAN Cashmere has been a staple for me over the cooler months, I was definitely hoping to replace it with something I'd love as much for summer!
Anyway, without further ado, let's talk about the CLEAN Ultimate Beach Day Eau De Toilette*.
NOTES:
Top Notes: Mandarin Orange, Italian Bergamot, Lemon, Kaffir Lime
Middle Notes: White Rose, Tuberose, Neroli, Jasmine, Angelica, African Orange Flower, Lavender, Sea Notes
Base Notes: Musk, Amber, Sand
Admittedly, I was a little bit surprised when I first got a sniff of this, because I think I was expecting it to be more of the coconut/suntan lotion scent that I tend to associate with beachy scents. While there is a hint of that in the background, overall I find this to have a much brighter, fresher overall feeling that really hits the beachy mark without feeling too much of any one thing. Make sense? The citrus and floral notes really come together to evoke a feeling of coming in from a long day at the beach perfectly in that way only CLEAN seems to be able to capture.
I love this type of scent for summer, but I really don't have anything like this in my collection. It's always exciting for me to find a scent that I really love that I don't already have something similar to.
Also, how pretty is this gradient bottle? It's like a summer sunset!

Like all of the rest of the CLEAN fragrances, I find that this lasts really well on me and is present without ever being overpowering on the skin. I've actually been reaching for this scent a lot lately - it has replaced CLEAN Cashmere as my every day scent as the season has changed - and I know I'm going to be reaching for it a lot over the whole summer.
If you get the chance, I highly recommend you get yourself a nose full of this one! CLEAN Fragrances are available at Sephora!
Thanks for reading!
