BEAUTY WISHLIST: February 2018

by - February 27, 2018

As always, there are always things popping up - both new releases and things that just ping my grabby hands even though they've been out for a while - and I always like to share them with you guys. This is actually something I'd really like to keep up every month in 2018 - but I'm not the best at that kind of thing, so I make no promises! Please let me know in the comments if this is something that you'd be interested in seeing more of!

Keep reading to see what's currently on my beauty wishlist!

1. Viseart Petit Pro 2 Palette
Viseart has actually been on my wishlist for quite a while now, but it's always one of those things where I struggle to justify the purchase. However, I feel like the Petit Pro palettes are at a price tag that I can justify and the curation of this one just gets me going, particularly with spring and summer on the horizon. This one just has such a nice mixture of shades for those seasons and I can just imagine how I would put it on my face.

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette
Like many other people, Anastasia has one of my favorite eyeshadow formulas so as soon as I saw this very easy to wear palette teased it went on my list. I love the mixture of shades and I feel like it was really well named, because I can 100% see myself creating really soft, glamous looks with this palette. I'm holding out for the reviews, but I suspect this one is going to kill.

3. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Parisian Lights
Honestly, I didn't have any interest in this powder until I saw a swatch of it on fair skin and that's what got me all atingle about getting my hands on it. It's definitely pink, but it has such a beautiful glow that I feel like it would just look lovely on my skin tone. I've also been getting a little bit more into a bolder highlight recently, so I think it might be time to finally try a BECCA highlighter. This one is limited though, so I think if I want it I'm going to have to pull the trigger right away or it's going to end up in the limited edition FOMO pile.

4. CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder
This powder has actually been on my radar for a while now, but for some reason I've really been wanting to get my hands on it lately. Honestly, even though I realize that you're most likely going to get a finer texture with high end loose powders, it's one of those types of products that I have a hard time justifying the price of. Anyone else get that? Anyway, this is definitely on the list because I feel like it would work well for me.

5. Wayne Goss The Eye Set Brushes
I've wanted Wayne Goss brushes for such a long time, but since I have so many budget friendly brushes in my collection that work really well it can be hard to justify the expense. That said, these brushes are just so beautiful and I've heard such good things that I think I'm actually going to straight save up for these and finally splurge on the set. They're just... swoony. I'd give them their own cup.

1. Farmacy The Mighties Kit
This made my wish list because I fell a little bit swoonily in love with the Farmacy cleansing balm and it's definitely made me perk up and want to pay more attention to the brand. I've heard good things about a lot of the products, so a try it kit like this one seems like a good way to experience some of the brand. I know a lot of people don't see the point of these kinds of kits, but I personally think they're a fantastic way to try out new products and find the ones for you.

2. HERBIVORE Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask
This is another product that I've heard incredibly things about and since I'm a massive fan of resurfacing products this has been giving me feelings for a while now. I've actually read a lot of reviews of this product and even the "bad" ones make me feel like this is a product that I want to try, one that has some seriously transformative properties.

3. Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum
Moving on to another product that is highly, highly hyped and hasn't entered my collection yet because of the price, this is basically the definition of that. I've heard such amazing things about this serum from people whose opinion and knowledge on skin care I seriously trust that it's pretty much at the top of my most wanted list at the moment.

4. The Ordinary 30% AHA + 2% BHA Peeling Solution
While this product falls on the much more affordable end of the spectrum, it isn't available in Canada because this strength of peel is legally restricted to only clinical use and I just can't get my hands on it... BUT I WANT IT SO BAD. Like I said above, I'm a huge fan of resurfacing and I've found that the occasional clinical strength peel does absolute wonders for my skin, so I'd really love to try an at home one from a brand whose formulas I trust. SOMEDAY!

5. Dermalogica Sound Sleep Cocoon
This product isn't even available yet, but I saw it teased on Instagram so I went and checked it out and I feel like I absolutely need this in my life. Again, a product from a brand whose formulas I trust that combines skin care with the use of lavender to promote deep restful sleep? Interesting, right? I have a feeling that this would be one of those products that I could absolutely fall in love with.

1. piCture pOlish Foxy Nail Polish
I don't know what it is with me lately, but I can't stop wanting all of the orange polishes. Shimmer, holo, créme... all of them. And this one is definitely at the very tippy top of the wants it pile because... I mean... It's gorgeous. What more can I say? This will be in my cart soon.

2. Lina Nail Art Supplies Make Your Mark 2 Stamping Plate
I've been getting super into stamping lately and there are actually quite a few plates that I want, but I recently saw a nail art post on Instagram using this plate and I just kind of fell in love with it. I also love that the Lina plates are basically giant so you have a lot of options for different styles and patterns with just one plate.

3. ILNP 1UP Nail Polish
Green polishes have also been on the wants list recently, especially after I did the green mani in my last post recently. Again, this one just looks absolutely stunning and I suspect I'll be ordering it sooner than lateras well.

4. KBShimmer A Hint Of Manilla Nail Polish
I do this really weird thing where I'll have a darker or bolder mani and as soon as I take it off, I want to go nude so I like having some really beautiful nude options in my collection and this one is nothing if not gorgeous. It's a nude base but it's packed with scattered holo shimmer and every single swatch I see just makes me feel like I need it.

5. Different Dimension Once Upon A Time Nail Polish
If this pink holo polish was in stock anywhere convenient for me, it would already be in my life. In fact, I would be tempted to pick up this entire collection if it wasn't so epically sold out. It's just so lovely and I can see myself reaching for it often. What more can you say, really? Itsjustsopretty!

So there you have it... A decent chunk of the things that are on my current wish list that I really want to get my hands on. Is there anything that's jumping out at you at the moment that you really want to get your hands on for your collection? Let me know in the comments!
