I feel like I'm supermuch behind the times on trying out the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer... but I admittedly tend to be that way. I think it was either early in 2017 or late in 2016 when this product was reformulated and everyone kind of went insane for it. I actually did want to buy it back then, but the shade selection was narrower when this was first relaunched - I believe - and I couldn't find one light enough for my skin. I actually got a sample of this with a Sephora order and after trying it out a handful a times, I decided to pick up a full size.

2015 was the year of a cheek product obsession for me. My collection blush, bronzer, and highlight got a little bit out of control and I had to give away a bunch of my blushes to make room for all of the new things that were coming into my life. I finally found a couple of bronzers that work on my skintone and don't look muddy and also figured out how to wear highlighter in a way that doesn't exaggerate the uneven skin texture that I have on my cheeks. Overall, it was a great year for cheek products for me and I could do one massive collection post to rave about all of the things that I love, but when I narrowed it down to 5 they all seemed like a really good fit. Again, I feel a little bit bad about including a couple of limited edition products in here, but it had to be about what I love, right?

You know how sometimes there's a product that you lust after and constantly swatch, but never seem to pull the trigger on actually buying? Maybe that's just me? Anyway, for the last several months I've been dying to pick up the Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Pansy Pop, but I never pulled the trigger because I wasn't quite sure how I was going to feel about the colour on my skintone. Still, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that it was going to end up in my collection. Luckily, after many shopping trips with me where this ended up swatched on the back of my hand, my best friend took the trigger pulling out of my hands and picked this up for me for my birthday. How awesome is my best friend??
