So... I wasn't actually tagged to do this, but when I saw it over on makingupashlee's Youtube Channel, I simply could not resist. I mean...  Okay, real talk, I kinda love answering questions. Seriously, sometimes when I'm bored or it's quiet, I imagine what my answer to all kinds of questions would be. Anyone else like that? If not... Oh well, I have announced my weirdness for everyone to read. I'm good with that.

ANYWAY, so I decided to do this tag because it seemed like a lot of fun and I really, really love Christmas. I mean, not quite THIS LEVEL of love... but there's some serious love for Christmas on my end. I mean, clearly enough Christmas love that I knew exactly what clip to look for to demonstrate Christmasjoyoverboard, right? Anyway! I have mad Christmas excitement, so keep reading for my answers to 15 Christmassy questions!

Do you guys know that I'm pretty much obsessed with yummy smelling hand soaps? I am! When I first met my boyfriend, he had a regular bar of soap on next to the sink in the bathroom, but long before we even moved in together I had picked up some yummy smelling soaps to replace the grungy bars and I suspect he won't ever go back. Recently, we've been using a bottle of the Live Clean Liquid Hand Soap in the scent Fresh Water, which I picked up because he uses the Fresh Water shampoo and conditioner and I fell a little bit in love with the smell (and I know it won't be too girly for him like some of the other soaps I've picked up!) 

Obviously, since I love the formula and I completely nerd out for all things holiday related, I was over the moon when I found out that Live Clean was releasing holiday scented hand soaps. Keep reading to take a closer look at each scent!

Even though this is a beauty blog and I am a complete and total beauty junkie, even I know that I can't just get everyone on my list beauty gifts, so I decided to go ahead and put together a list of some of my favorite non-beauty gifts - including a few things that I've gifted to people before and ones that I'll be gifting this year. I tried to split this into different categories for different types of people you might have in your life, but I think there's a lot of gifts here that could be great for a lot of different people. I love playing with makeup for the holidays. Generally, I go one of two ways when I'm actually attending holiday events - Full old Hollywood glam with nude eyes, fierce black winged liner, and a punchy red lip, or a more cozy, warm smoky eye type of a look, usually with red lips as well. I mean, really, is there any better time of year to rock an over the top red lip? I had the opportunity to create a holiday look courtesy of THEFACESHOP and I feel like it really captures exactly the type of look that I love for the holidays that pretty much anyone could pull off.

Stocking stuffers are my absolute favorite thing to shop for. When I put together gifts for people, I rarely choose to pick up one large thing and instead go for a series of smaller gifts to make a kind of stocking. This is true for every occasion, really, especially birthdays. I feel like there's something a little more fun about getting a series of smaller gifts that are exciting rather than one big gift - like a little kid who feels like they have more money just because it's broken down into change rather than one bill. Anyway, this post was really fun for me to put together and I would love to get any of these products as a gift this holiday season.

At this time of year, it seems like everywhere you look in the online beauty space, there's amazing and beautiful gift sets. Of course, a lot of those gift sets are of the high end variety and, as beautiful as they are, it's hard to justify the purchase of all of the ones that we all want. Along with all of the high end goodies, there are actually a lot of great drug store holiday sets that just aren't easily attainable for us Canadian girls. It was with that in mind that I decided to do a little looking around and see what we do have. During a trip to Walmart earlier this week, I noticed that they really had some adorable sets from Hard Candy out on the shelves, so I decided to do a little bit of research and I found that there are a TON of kits out there from Hard Candy this year and I decided to share them.

(These are the Canadian sets at the Canadian prices, but I believe that they're pretty much the same in both price and packages at US Walmarts as well.)
