I'm in my 30s now and I pretty much mourn the skin of my early 20s every time I let myself think about it. As we age we start to see the subtle ways that our skin changes and just doesn't bounce back the way that it used to, we see fine lines and texture imperfections more noticeably than we used to and some of us (about 80% of us actually) still suffer from the breakouts we were convinced as teenagers that we'd grow out of. Because of all of these things, I think this is really the point for most of us when we really start thinking seriously about skin care if we haven't started already. My particular skin issues tend to be hormonal breakouts as well as clogged and enlarged pores. I also have some acne scars and hyper-pigmentation, both of which are things that I tend to be quite insecure about.
