Prairie Beauty

I swear, I was planning on decluttering some of my face palettes... but I just couldn't do it. I'm a sucker for palettes with a lot of options. Even though I'm not a huge traveler, they're great for taking on the go and I just love being able to reach for one thing and having a lot of options. And my options are from the most affordable dollar store makeup to the most gorgeous, luxurious high end, so there's a lot to work with here for every budget. And like I proved in my Makeup Collection & Declutter: Blushes post, I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to blushes and... okay, I feel a little bit embarrassed about it now that my collection is on the internet - but I feel NO SHAME.

Anyway, if you wanna see my still-cluttered collection of face palettes with mini-reviews - keep reading!

Sometimes I see a product in a store and I just WANT it, but I don't buy it because I've never heard anything about it and don't know if it'll be any good. But then I go back to the store and I see it again and I WANT it, but again I stop myself. I swear, with this highlighter I did that about 10 times before I finally just grabbed the Measurable Difference Face & Body Highlighter in the shade Glow off the shelf one day at Winners and decided to give it a try. I love baked cheek products, and more and more I'm finding myself gravitating in that direction. The thing that drew me about this particular product was how much it reminded me of some very high end baked highlighting products that I've been coveting and I thought... Could this be as good as those?

How's that for a long story about how this came to reside in my collection? I'll stop doing some much adoing and get to the review now, so keep reading!

I feel like the Sephora Collection products don't get enough love. Anyone else feel like that? It always seems to make a lot more sense when I'm actually in Sephora to head to my favorite brands (or the brands that have products I covet that are just not in the budget at the moment) rather than peek around the Sephora Collection aisle. However, I do feel like there are some serious gems that are getting overlooked because a lot of us feel the same way. In the last few months, I've tried out a couple of things from Sephora's store line and I've been incredibly impressed with them, so when I heard that they had a new concealer and all signs were pointing to awesomeness, I had to pick it up. In all honestly, I think I have a bit of an obsession with concealers and I need to put myself on a no buy until I tear through some of them. ANYWAY, I've been reaching for this constantly lately and I want to give you guys my thoughts.

Keep reading for my thoughts!

When I saw Jenn over at A Beautiful Zen do the Addicted to Blush Tag, I had absolutely no choice but to toss my hat in the ring on this one. It was only the other day that I really realized how hard my addiction to blush has grown when I realized I literally had no room left in my blush drawer for even one more product. This is a problem. So I gave 5 away, because I figured that was enough for now and my best friend loves shimmery pink blushes a hell of a lot more than I do, so she would be the perfect recipient of a few of my shimmerier, pinker blushes. Still, at count when I was putting together this post my blush count is... 42 Single blushes, 3 blushes in mixed palettes, and 3 blush palettes with 3, 4, and 8 blushes respectively. I have a blush problem, don't I?

Anyway... Blush Tag, let's do this!
