As soon as I saw pictures of the new LELO ENIGMA Dual Stimulation Massager*, I was immediately both intensely intrigued and a little bit unsure. I mean... I'm not the most well versed in the vibrator market, I will admit, but I had never seen anything like this and I was dying to try it. I've tried out a lot of products from LELO in the past and have generally really been impressed with them - with a few favorites definitely rising to the top - but I knew that this would either be a love or hate for me.

Sometimes there are products or tools that are just so different and make such interesting claims, that you really can't help but try them. That's how I felt when I was offered the opportunity to try out the Hair Slinky by La Vita Glam*. The coiled rubber hair ties promise that they won't leave creases in your hair, won't cause breakage, and won't slip. For me, those are pretty big claims and ones I was really hoping would be true. They also boast that these look great on your wrist, so you can take them along with you wherever you go. Now, I don't know that that's entirely true for my personal style, but I will say that I find these a lot more comfortable to wear on my wrist than I do a traditional hair elastic, because they are never too tight and don't cut off my circulation. Good, right?

So there are a lot of products that I've had photograped for ages and been meaning to review, but for whatever reason haven't gotten around to. Honestly, sometimes the blogger mind gets a little overwhelmed and things that get put off in favor of writing other posts end up waaaaay back on the backburner. Anyway, I'm trying to get some of these reviews out for you guys, even though the products aren't new anymore. To me, it's worth it to have these posts in my blog in case people are ever wondering about them in the future. I won't do this with Limited Edition products - because that's silly - but instead will just review permanent products that might not be new, but are definitely still available.

One of the products that I've been meaning to review is the Makeup Revolution The Matte Blush in the shade Dare. You guys probably already know that I love Makeup Revolution's powder products and I'm a huge blush junkie, so of course this was going to end up in my arsenal!

I've been wanting to try a cushion foundation ever since the first time I saw it in a Korean drama, but I've never pulled the trigger on buying one. When I saw the upcoming released for L'Oreal a while back and saw that they were coming out with a cushion foundation in their True Match Lumi line, I was very excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. So... When I saw the display at Walmart completely untouched soon after they put it out, it went directly into my cart along with wrapping paper and epsom salts, and I've been trying it out ever since.

So, did it measure up to my hopes? Keep reading to find out!

Over the past year or so, I've been really impressed with everything I've tried from VICHY- a brand that I'd never actually paid that much mind to in the past. About 6 months ago, you may remember that I reviewed the VICHY IDÉALIA Life Serum & Skin Sleep*, and more recently I've fallen a little bit in love with a couple of other products that I plan on reviewing in the future. You could definitely say that VICHY is officially on my radar in a big way now. So when I had the chance to try out the new VICHY AQUALIA THERMAL Extra Sensitive Soothing Ultra Calming Care*, a deep hydrating lotion for dry, very dry, and sensitive skin, I was completely in and excited to try it out. This is the time of year when my skin is quite dry and, as a direct result, much more sensitive than the rest of the year, so this product sounded right up my alley.

I feel like the Sephora Collection products don't get enough love. Anyone else feel like that? It always seems to make a lot more sense when I'm actually in Sephora to head to my favorite brands (or the brands that have products I covet that are just not in the budget at the moment) rather than peek around the Sephora Collection aisle. However, I do feel like there are some serious gems that are getting overlooked because a lot of us feel the same way. In the last few months, I've tried out a couple of things from Sephora's store line and I've been incredibly impressed with them, so when I heard that they had a new concealer and all signs were pointing to awesomeness, I had to pick it up. In all honestly, I think I have a bit of an obsession with concealers and I need to put myself on a no buy until I tear through some of them. ANYWAY, I've been reaching for this constantly lately and I want to give you guys my thoughts.

Does anyone else have one (or more) of those products that you've literally been dying to try for years, but haven't ever actually picked up? For me, it's the LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask (which I've been coveting long enough that in my mind it will forever be the Water Sleeping Pack - What's up, K-Beauty?) From the very first K-Beauty order that I made, where I picked up my first legit Korean BB cream, this cult favorite product has been on my wishlist. I've even tried a lot of different overnight masks/packs with the question of whether it was as good as this one at the forefront of my mind. I swear, in my mind this was literally the best thing ever in skin care. Impossible standards, right? Which, I think, is why it took me so long to actually try it. Of course, when I got the opportunity to try it from Influenster as a part of their #lovingLANEIGE campaign, it was with a lot of excitement and a little dash of fear that it wouldn't live up to the expectations I had built for it...

So, how did it measure up? Keep reading for more!

I try a lot of different shampoos and conditioners, I admit. I'm not really sure why, but there's always something new or something that smells really good or something that just seems like it'll solve all of my hair woes, and I just have to try it. I don't tend to spend a lot of money on these products, so what's in my shower is pretty much always from the drugstore, with an assist from a higher end deep conditioner that I use about once a week. I don't actually usually use matching pairs, because I feel like it's completely unnecessary, but I do like to try out pairs together and see how they work out. Anyway, clearly I love trying out new things and I actually won the Live Clean Coconut Milk Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner in a blog giveaway, and I was insanely excited to get to the try them out. So let's see how they measured up, shall we?

I use a cleansing oil to take off my makeup pretty much every single day. It's actually been quite a long time since I started using cleansing oils and I always seem to come back to them - unless I'm too lazy, which is occasional. Still, I find that, for me, nothing takes off my eye makeup quite like a good cleansing oil. I use this as a part of a double cleanse, so I use the cleansing oil to take off the surface makeup and dirt, and then I go in with a traditional skin cleanser to actually clean the skin. I find that this is the most effective way to cleanse my skin, personally, and I can't see this changing anytime soon. SO after all of that introduction, I've recently had the chance to try out the new Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil* and I'm ready to give my thoughts on how this product performs!

I love when Essence releases new products - it's definitely a run out and grab them as soon as they're released kind of a thing. You guys know all about my love for Essence and probably also about my love for all things neutral. For me, these products are pretty much the best of everything - and the products that have been out overseas for a while that I've been dying to get my hands on. In case you were wondering, these are NOT Trend Edition products so you don't have to rush out to try and get your hands on them. Now, even though I wanted to, I didn't grab all of the new releases from this collection, but I did get my hands on a few of the products and I can't wait to tell you guys how they perform!

You guys have seen the commercials, right? I swear, after having tried everything to try and keep my feet looking like they did when I was a little kid, I've been on the hunt for something new. The last time I had a pedicure was over a year ago - and the experience was so absolutely awful that it has put me off them for a while. I know, I know... Pedicures can be amazing if the person doing it cares enough not to mangle your feet, but I'm easily turned off of things when I have a bad experience. That's why I'm a bathroom-self-pedicurist these days. I've tried the callous shavers, I love my Mr. Pumice for quick brushes of my feet in the shower, and I've even tried the dreaded cheese grater for the feet (which I DO NOT recommend because it can take healthy skin with it and leave your feet a mangled mess!) Overall, I just tend to find these sorts of things to be a lot of work, for not enough pay off and I wanted something that was a little easier and more effective. Anyway, I feel like I'd tried it all without any overwhelming success... until now. This new breed of at home foot care devices is something different and exciting, that's for sure! But how does it work???

So here's the thing... I've been eyeing up the VICHY IDÉALIA Life Serum* for literally months. Every time I meander into Shopper's, I head over to the skin care aisle and try this out on the back of my hand and just love it. Eventually, I knew I was going to try it. Well, I got the chance to try it as well as the brand spankin' VICHY IDÉALIA Skin Sleep* recently and I'm loving the results that they've been having for my skin. I don't want to ramble on too much... so let's just get to the meat of this post!

Wanna know what I hate? I hate when there's an amazing product in the drugstore at an incredibly affordable price and the company goes and discontinues it. As you guys probably know, I've had pretty good luck with Essence since they came to Canada. It started with a downright obsession with owning all of their nail polishes, but now it's all about the new makeup releases and Limited Edition collections for me and I still seem to have really good luck. And then I heard somewhere that their lip liners were really, really good... so I bought 3. And then I heard that they're being discontinued... and I'm about to go on a backup lip liner rampage, seriously.

So keep reading the review, check out the swatches, and then get down to whatever store in your area sells Essence and go mad with lip liner power, okay? Instructions complete.

UPDATE: I got a tweet from Essence and it turns out that my information was incorrect and their lip liner's not only aren't being discontinued, but they're releasing 2 new shades in August! I can't even tell you how excited I am about this... even though I went to literally 8 different Shopper's Drug Mart locations to get back ups of Satin Mauve. I'll use them, so it's all good! I also picked up the rest of the shades that are available now, because... Well, why not?

I know... Black Friday is LONG GONE and it took me forever to review this little kit, but I figured it was still worth it since all of these are permanent products from the Origins line and are definitely worth a closer look. Until recently I hadn't really tried anything from the Origins line outside of some foil samples that I got from Sephora and really hardly remember trying. I did know, though, that this is one of those lines that has a lot of ride or die fans who swear by their products, and I'm always curious to try out those brands. The last year or so has really been all about skin care for me and I'm always on the hunt for those real gem products that I can inject into my routine for some serious results.

So, without any further rambling, keep reading for a look at each product...

I am terrible at consistently applying body lotion, I admit it. I tend to hate applying lotion to wet skin after the shower, which is exactly when I need it, and I oftentimes will just skip it, get dressed, and go about my business. As such, my skin feels like it has been a little bit neglected over the years, especially when winter rolls around and the dry air and cold temps do a number on my skin. I feel like I've been talking ad nauseum about winter skin recently, but us Canadian girls know that the struggle is real. Winter rolls around and it's time to up your water intake and be a little more diligent about applying moisture to the skin. I have to tell you, this lotion makes that diligence a lot easier for me to stomach and my skin is loving me at the moment because of it.

I spoiled it already, but keep reading for my deep thoughts about this lotion...

So this was a gift that I received from my Secret Santa this year. You might recall that I included this on my wishlist this year, having said that I wasn't normally a fan of cream highlights but that I loved the swatches of these in store and that I would like to mix some into my foundation to give my skin some glow. Well, Secret Santa was watching and she hooked. me. up. Now, I'm not entirely sure if you can still get this - I have the sneaking suspicion that it probably sold out quite quickly in most Sephora locations - but I figured it's worth a review because these are available in full size in the permanent line. And because they're awesome. SPOILERS!
