CBB GUEST POST: How To Add Pastels For Spring
Hi everyone, Katie here from ThatGeekOnline, with a guest post on how to
add pastels into your outfit for the spring time! Now, everyone who knows me
knows that I wear a lot of black, especially since I have to wear black at
work, so when it came to this pastel themed blog post....the struggle was real.
Finally, I came up with three simple ways to add pastels into a typical work
outfit without having to change my actual wardrobe, keep reading to find out
what they are!
1. A Pastel Shade of Lipstick
First of all, can we talk about how pale I am? Okay, moving on. Adding a
pale pastel shade of lipstick is a quick, easy way to add a bit of spring fun
to your makeup.
The products I am wearing in this photo are Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick in 855 Fuschia and Maybelline Color Elixir in 030 Luminous Lilac (P.S, if you haven't tried the color elixirs yet, get on that).

2. A Pastel Nail Polish
This one is pretty straight forward, I don't have a photo of my nails
because they are actually horrendous looking right now (beauty blogger of the
year, I know).
Essie has some gorgeous pastel spring shades out right now, so I definitely
recommend those!
3. A Statement Necklace
Oh my gosh, statement necklaces are my saviour when it comes to spring.
They a) add color to my outfit while b) making me look more put together.
The necklace I'm wearing above is my absolute favorite and it is from
Ardene. Super affordable accessories for a great price.
Anyways, those are my three little cheats on how to get pastel into your
wardrobe even if you are not used to wearing color. If you want to see more
from me, you can check out my blog or my youtube
channel, ThatGeekOnline.
Hope you are all having an amazing day! XO
Katie
