You know what I love? I love getting home after a long day and finding that familiar Glossybox packaging waiting for me because it always seems to brighten up my mood and give me something fun to do to shed my stress. New makeup and beauty products always do that! This week, when this was waiting for me when I got home from work, it couldn't have been more perfect timing. I also love that I keep finding new uses for the gorgeous blush pink Glossyboxes around the house to store various small items. Really, this is a double whammy, right? Anyway, this month's email spoilers got me really excited to get my hands on the box and I was really happy to tear into and see what else was waiting for me there.

If you're interested in seeing what I got, keep reading to take a look inside this month's Glossybox!

Lollipops Makeup Délicieuse Lip Balm
0.33oz Full Size Product - Value $5.50
A summer necessity for the sun worshiping goddess in all of us, this lip balm protects against UV rays and pollution with its paraben free formula. It is also rich in antioxidants, which include tepescohuite extract, a Mexican plant known for its regenerative capabilities, and nutritive macadamia nut oil, so chapped lips will be a thing of the past.

First off... THIS SMELLS SO GOOD. This has that yummy cake batter smell that somehow manages not to smell fake, which is a huge plus for me. The formula is quite thin, so I don't think it's going to pack as much moisture and protection as a traditional lip balm, but I think it will be a nice nourishing, subtle gloss that I will get some use out of. I've only tried this on my lips once, so the jury is still out on how I feel about it aside from the yummy smell.

GLAMGLOW YOUTHCLEANSE Daily Clearing Cleanser
1oz Deluxe Sample Size Product - Value $7.80
Designed to gently exfoliate, cleanse and renew skin to create a more youthful, glowing complexion, YOUTHCLEANSE transforms from a luxurious mud into a gentle and effective foaming lather that dissolves makeup and impurities and removes dead surface cells.

I'm so excited that this was featured in this box because I've been wanting to try it, but unwilling to buy the full size without a trial. I've used this twice already and I really enjoy it. It feels really great on the skin, with that twigs and bark feeling that the mask has, but really does lather to a rich foam that doesn't strip my skin or make it feel tight after I've rinsed. I'm looking forward to continuing to use this and see if it's worth the high price tag! (I'm starting to think it might be worth the high price tag... and bad for my budget...)

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Conditioning Lash Primer
0.14oz Full Size Product - Value $24
Retire those false lashes and debut a fierce flutter by adding this primer to your beauty routine. Acting as a base for your mascara, this primer nourishes the lashes to prevent flaking while ensuring your look stays on from morning to night.

Not gonna lie, I tried this out within an hour of opening this box and I think I went a little overboard. I've used it twice so far and I can definitely tell you, less is more. The first time I ended up with spider lashes that didn't hold a curl. When used in one light coat and allowed to dry before applying mascara, this gives a really good punch of both length and volume and keeps my lashes from feeling crispy. This also says you can use it overnight as a lash conditioner, so that's my next plan of attack. I think this is a really great addition to this box!

SpaRitual Nail Lacquer in Authentically (Matte Shimmer)
0.5oz Full Size Product - Value $12
Slow down and channel your inner zen with this creamy polish that delivers a long-lasting manicure with its patented, specially designed brush. Thanks to its vegan, responsibly sourced ingredients, SpaRitual is ushering in a healthier way to paint your nails without harmful chemicals.

This will come in various colours for different subscribers, but I received a really interesting matte shimmer shade that I'm actually kinda obsessed with it. It starts to dry down really, really quickly, so you have to work fast, but this is the kind of super pigmented formula that only requires one coat for opacity. I feel like this will be the kind of shade that I'm happy to whack on when I'm in a rush and want something vibrant and cute on my nails.

Pop Beauty Kajal Pen in Snooty Black
0.03oz Full Size Product - Value $10
Whether you want to create a rocker chic smokey or the classic cat-eye, take your black liner to new heights with this intensely pigmented kajal pencil. The smudgable, matte formula glides on effortlessly and can be used alone or over eyeshadow to define the eye.

I feel like subscription boxes are really all I need to have more black eyeliner on hand than I could ever need, I really do. Much as I would have preferred this in a different shade, it seems like a decent formula and I do love a good smudger, so I'm not mad at it.

Total Value: $59.30

Another month, another great Glossybox! I really have to tell you that this company continues to impress me with their offerings every month. One of my favorite things is that I generally can't find any of the products I receive in my Glossybox at my local drugstore. They are almost always High End or Indie products that I might never have picked up otherwise and the value really adds up. At nearly $60, this is actually the lowest value I've gotten - but still more than twice what I paid for it for products that I might never have gotten a chance to try before. I'm so in, Glossybox!

Glossybox is a monthly online subscription service that curates boxes filled with 5 samples of various beauty, skin care, and haircare products delivered to your door for $21 a month (Plus $5 shipping for Canadian customers). Each month you'll receive a beautifully packaged box that makes for great reusable beauty storage filled with 5 different products to try out. Head over to Glossybox now to sign up and get your hands on this month's box!
