If you look back through this blog, you'll notice that one of my favorite hair care brands is L'Oreal. There's a few products from them that I always end up going back to, specifically their hair masks, and I've always been a big fan of what the products I've previously tried have done for my hair. It's timely that I was able to try the Color Radiance line for the first time, thanks to Influenster, shortly after I've coloured my hair a kind of rose gold balayage. You may have seen the first day it was pink on my Instagram, but that faded quite quickly (before I was using these products, by the way!) and since then I've maintained a subtle rose gold look to the ends of my hair. Anyone who has used semi-permanent, vegetable based dyes in their hair knows that they fade very, very quickly, so this was a good test.

So how did it go? Keep reading for more!

L'Oreal Hair Expertise Color Radiance Shampoo*
I really liked this shampoo. I found that it got my hair pretty clean without stripping or pulling out the colour. In fact, the first time I used this I was surprised to look down at see that water at my feet in the shower wasn't tinged pink - since that had become the norm since colouring my hair. One thing that I did notice when using this shampoo was that I had to wash my hair a little more often than I might like, but admittedly I like to shampoo my hair only about twice a week so for most people that wouldn't be a problem.

L'Oreal Hair Expertise Color Radiance Conditioner*
Conditioner is where I tend to be pretty picky, but this one definitely held up. I felt like it gave me good softness and manageability without leaving behind a heavy residue in my hair. I feel like that can be a pretty difficult cord to strike sometimes, but this one did quite well.

L'Oreal Hair Expertise Color Radiance Instant Miracle*
Now this baby right here is going to be a definite repurchase for me. Like I said, I love the L'Oreal Hair Masks and I've actually used the Instant Miracle from the Total Repair 5 line in the past, and this one impressed me just as much. My favorite part is really that you get the intensity of a hair mask without the waiting. In fact, I find that this works a lot better when you apply it and rinse it out with no downtime in between.

Overall, I'm very happy with how these products treated my hair. I feel like the 2 most important things for me are that hair products aren't going to strip my hair and leave it feeling and looking dry, especially after all that intense bleaching, and that they're going to give me a good hit of moisture and softening without leaving my hair feeling heavy and weighed down. It can be a tricky chord to strike, but I feel like these products did a good job and I will definitely use them again in the future!
