REVIEW: Live Clean Vitamin Multi Boost Shampoo & Conditioner*
*Product was provided for review.
As you guys know, I'm a huge fan of Live Clean products and I've been trying quite a few of them in the past year. I love finding environmentally friendly hair care products, because when I'm washing products down the drain I like to feel confident that they're going to be fairly gentle to the planet, and that's a place where Live Clean shines. Recently, I got the opportunity to try out the new Live Clean Multi Boost Shampoo* and Conditioner* and both me and my boyfriend have put them to use in the shower recently - and because we both have quite different hair types and needs, we've had pretty different experiences, so I'll let you know about both of them.

First off, I have to tell you guys what is probably the most random
thing about these products. I absolutely love the way this smells in my
boyfriend's hair. Because it's fresh and not overly feminine, it gives
his hair a really clean smell that I could just pretty much shove my
nose in. Weird? Admittedly, I smell my own hair a lot when I have really
nice smelling products, but this is the first time I've been the weirdo
sitting around sniffing her man's hair - so worth it though.
As for ingredients, like with all Live Clean products you can count on the fact that it's a plant derived formula that is sulfate, phthalate, petroleum, silcone and paraben free. While this might not be a big concern to some people, it is to others, and I personally like knowing that I'm not washing those things down the drain when I rinse my hair. This particular formula includes avocado extract and in enriched with vitamins to really nourish and improve the surface of your hair.

So, currently I have damaged hair that needs a ton of moisture to help keep it looking and feeling soft. I think that for me this line just doesn't have the punch of hydration that my damaged hair needs. It cleansed and conditioned it really nicely, but it just didn't have the intensity that I currently need. I feel like I will probably stick to the Live Clean Exotic Nectar Shampoo & Conditioner, which I feel gives me a more intensely hydrating experience. I've actually been planning to review that system for a while now, so look for it in the near future!
Now, my boyfriend's experience with this has been fantastic. He has quite healthy hair that runs oily and is quite fine. As he's been using this, I've noticed that his hair is really soft and seems to have a little bit more volume than usual. It also doesn't seem to be getting as greasy as quickly, which is fantastic because he normally absolutely has to wash his hair every single day. He's a total man's man, so he can't really give me much beyond telling me that he likes it, but I've definitely seen an improvement in his hair since he's been using this.
I think that the Live Clean Multi Boost line is definitely worth trying out, particularly for those with normal to oily or slightly dry hair. Overall, though, I really feel like Live Clean is a brand that has something for everyone and it's been consistently one that I've been loving recently!
