Hey all! It's been a while since I've done an adult toy review here on the blog, but I'm super excited to show a new goodie from LELO that I - and my partner - have been testing out over here and it's a GOOD one. I've always been overall really impressed with all of the gadgets from LELO that I've tested out, but the LELO Dot Cruise* ranks pretty high up there, particularly as a toy to be with or on someone else, if you get my meaning!

When the initial photos of the new Wet N Wild 10 Pan Palettes came out a couple of months ago, I have to admit that I wasn't entirely excited about the Nude Awakening palette. I never picked up this palette when it was originally released in the old format, which was laid out differently than this one but contained the exact same shades as far as I can tell, so I ultimately decided to give this one a go. I feel like all neutral palettes have become a little bit less exciting than they were a few years ago, because there are just so many of them. However, when I took a look at this one in store I decided to give it a go.

Aside from the new eyeshadow palettes, if there was one thing I was most excited to see coming to stores here in Canada, it was definitely the Wet N Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow. I'm basically a massive fan of the Megaglo highlighter in the shade Precious Petals, but when they released a lighter shade and I heard some absolutely incredible things about the shade and formula for pale skinned people, I was 100% on board for trying it out and was even tempted to pay the insane shipping costs to Canada. Luckily, didn't have to. I found this in store recently and I've been using it consistently to see if it lived up to my hopes.

Because I'm such a huge fan of the NYX Lid Lingerie Shadow Palette, which I definitely think is a drugstore must have, the NYX Cosmic Metals Shadow Palette has been on my shopping list for a while. And has, of course, been consistently sold out every time I've looked for it in store locally. I finally managed to get my hands on it recently and I was super excited to try it out.

I've become a little bit of a collector of the small palettes that tarte has been releasing for the past few years. In fact, one of my all time favorite palettes is the tarte Tarteist Pro To Go palette and I still reach for it really consistently and find it quite versatile for having only six shades in it. Because I loved that palette so much, there was really no question as to whether or not I was going to pick up the tarte Tartelette Flirt Palette as soon as the Sephora VIB Rouge Sale started.

So... How is it and how does it stack up to the Tarteist Pro To Go and the Tartelette Tease palettes? Keep reading to find out!

When it was announced that Colourpop was going to be carried at Sephora, I was personally really curious about how that was going to work. As a Canadian, it can be a bit of a pain to get Colourpop products since the exchange rate is pretty steep at the moment and oftentimes we have to pay duties once the products arrive. That being said, I'm actually a huge fan of the brand and I think their formulas are overwhelmingly impressive, particularly for the price point, so I was hopeful about the Sephora launch. As we all know now, the launch has been pretty sparse, but they did release a couple of palettes that are exclusive to Sephora and as soon as I saw the Colourpop Semi-Precious Eyeshadow Palette, I absolutely had to have it so I ordered it on launch day at about 7am.

For my thoughts on this palette - plus a bit of a rant about this launch - keep reading!

I'm not even going to be coy here... If you follow me on Instagram, you'll already know that today we're going to be talking about my new nail obsession - the Sinful Colors Hypnotic Transforming Topcoats. My best friend has actually been doing a lot of acrylic pour painting recently and I had been wanting to create that same kind of effect on my nails, but it always seemed like way too much work with way too much possibility of error. Enter these topcoats and my heart is singing.

Recently, Maybelline released some new products in their FIT Me range at about the same time as I needed to re-up on some of my much loved products from the range. Rather than just reviewing the new products, I wanted to put a spotlight on the whole range because, in my opinion, it's one of the best overall in the drugstore. It doesn't hurt that everything in this range is also under $10. With a lot of drugstore products, particularly here in Canada, creeping up over $10 per item, I'm always on the hunt for truly good budget friendly options and I really feel like Maybelline has done it with their FIT Me range.

I have to admit that after really not enjoying the larger eyeshadow palettes from Maybelline, I wasn't really sure if I was going to enjoy the new Maybelline City Mini Palettes, but like a true makeup junkie I always want to try everything and exciting in the drugstore so I had to pick up at least one. I actually spent a lot of time looking at the display trying to decide which palette I wanted to try before settling on Chill Brunch Neutrals. Though the trend is definitely pretty warm lately, I've gotten a little bit tired of filling up my collection with rusty shades so I decided to go with this plummy mauve colour palette because I think it suits my skin tone quite well.

When it comes to my luxury Wish List, there are really a lot of things from Charlotte Tilbury on that list. Until now, I hadn't owned anything from the brand because I don't have a local stockist and I like to swatch and test higher end products before I pick them up. However, I've had Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks* in my cart more than a few times in the past, because they've pretty much topped my wishlist for quite some time now. Recently, I finally got the chance to try them out and I'm over the moon excited.

Hey guys! Recently I got the chance to try out some new fragrances from Avon. For me, summertime is definitely a time when I like a lighter, brighter fragrance that isn't too overwhelming and I think all three of these fit that bill perfectly.

Sometimes I think that the products from The Ordinary can be a little bit confusing for those of us who aren't entirely familiar with all of the ingredients that they sell. Personally, I actually like that because it forces me to look into the ingredients and see if they might be a good fit for my skin type, but I know that it could definitely be confusing for people who aren't really interested in going that deep with it. That's actually why I decided to do this review - because of all of the products, I feel like The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA might be the most confusing for people.

One thing that I've always loved about Hard Candy is how much they tend to push things and always stand out from other drugstore brands with products and packaging that are different from what else is going on at the drugstore. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out some products from their newer Spring/Summer 2017 launches and rather than reviewing all of them, I wanted to go ahead and pick my personal favorites from the collection. Here in Canada, we don't get quite as wide a range as our neighbors to the south, so there are a bunch of other new releases in the US that I wish I could get my hands on, but I definitely do think there are some winners from the Canadian launches.

I have to admit, I have a thing for concealer. I feel like a million new foundations come out at the drugstore every year and I try a couple of them, but whenever a new concealer is released at the drugstore I absolutely have to try it. So, of course, when I heard good things about the Milani Retouch + Erase Light Lifting Concealer it went directly onto the shopping list. Now that the Milani displays are getting a little bigger here in Canada, I was able to get my hands on it and I'm excited to review it for you guys!

Matte liquid lipsticks still seem to be going strong, but recently the market has been popping up with a lot of super glossy, highly pigmented lip lacquers as well. Recently mark. released a collection of lip paints that are available in 4 shades of each finish, with each collection containing shades ranging from very wearable to very outside the box that promise to be more intense than a lipstick and more saturated than a gloss with built in primer.

For my review of the mark. Pout Vinyl & Velvet Lip Paints*, keep reading!

I absolutely love a blush palette, I must admit. For someone like me - aka, not a makeup artist - they may seem to be a little bit overkill but I love being able to reach into my blush drawer, grab a palette with a good variety of shades and a good formula, and choose exactly what I need without fuss. Also, I think every makeup junkie needs a blush palette for travel. Anyway, this is why I've been eyeing up the Maybelline Masterblush Colour & Highlight Palette* ever since it was released. I've actually had it in my head several times, but hadn't gotten around to picking it up and recently it was sent to me to try out from Chickadvisor. I've been giving this a serious test, so keep reading for my thoughts!

I have a confession to make. When it comes to foundation, I'm a bit of a fiend. Whenever a new foundation comes out, I want to get it on my face. I suspect this is because I've yet to find the absolute perfect foundation for me, even though I do have some serious favorites. When it comes to foundation, there are actually different types of formulas that I like for different days. Sometimes I want a really high coverage, matte finish and other times I want a more medium coverage with a natural finish. Gonna make it hard to find the perfect foundation, isn't it? Anyway, recently, I've been trying out the new Avon True Color Ideal Nude Liquid Foundation & Cream Concealer* and I'm excited to tell you guys about them!

If there was one drugstore release that I think sent everyone spinning recently, I'd say it's definitely the Wet N Wild Photofocus Collection of complexion products. With the cost of drugstore foundations seeming to be ever crawling higher, truly affordable foundations from the drugstore are starting to be like unicorns - if unicorns came in a limited shade range and were always sold out! I was thrilled when I found out that we were going to be getting these in Canada and literally stalked my local Superstore waiting for the new display to be put out - and then went mad with power grabbing everything literally 2 hours after it did.

Anyway, for my thoughts on these products, keep reading!

I have to tell you guys, as soon as I saw pictures of the new mark. Colour Collection products online, I absolutely wanted to try them. I mean, not even going to lie, the packaging is kind of amazing, right? I love how modern and young it looks and I really feel like more and more people are going to start taking notice of mark. because of the branding and package design that they have on their products. BUT how's the formula?

So... I love makeup brushes. Like I really, really love them. Because my collection is ridiculous and a full brush cleaning takes me a couple of hours, I've been really good for quite a while about picking up more brushes. I decided a while ago that if I was going to get more brushes, I was going to have to do a cull of my current collection first. However, when I first saw a photo of the bh Cosmetics Rose Quartz 9 Piece Brush Set, I pretty much immediately decided that I had to have it... and then a few days later, after forcing myself not to impulse buy, I still wanted it so I just decided to go for it.

Now that I've been putting these brushes to work, I've got a full review! Keep reading!
