REVIEW: L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation in 202 Creamy Natural
As soon as this foundation was announced, it seemed like everyone went crazy about it. I can see why, really. Since the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation was such a huge hit when it was released and everyone is so obsessed with getting their glow on at the moment, the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation was absolutely sure to be a hit. Personally, I was a little unsure of whether this would be something that I would be interested in, since a lot of foundations that are supposed to be "glowy" just never seem to work for me and just end up looking greasy on my skin. It wasn't until I saw a couple of reviews from people that I know tell the truth about products no matter what that I got on the bandwagon and decided that YES, I was definitely going to pick this up. And I did, literally as soon as I saw it on the shelf.
So, how'd it go for me? Keep reading to find out!
About L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation:
Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.
Let's get this out of the way first and foremost - It is NOT good to wear your foundation for 24 hours straight, so I had no intention of trying to test the 24 hour claims. However, I did give this as much of a test I was able and probably wore it for about 14 hours from before work until I took my makeup off in the evening, and I will definitely say that I think the wear time is really, really good on this foundation.
In fact, I actually feels like it holds up to most of the claims it makes. This is definitely a medium coverage that really does cover most imperfections on my skin and really only needs concealer if I have something major going on. It does tend to get a little bit shiny on me after about 5-6 hours, but it blots easily and I still feel like I have enough coverage that I don't need a touch up. I actually really like the way that this looks on the skin, because the glow it gives is definitely more of a healthy glow than an over the top shiny glow. It also really does seem to set, rather than just sitting on top of the skin and moving around throughout the day, which I wasn't expecting.
Overall, I have to say this is one of my favorite drugstore foundations that I've tried in a long time. The coverage, wear time, and finish are all really impressive to me and I genuinely think this is a really great release from L'Oreal. Have you tried the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
