Paula's Choice is one of those names in skin care that has a reputation for having really good formulations that genuinely show results. It's for that reason that I'm always more than happy to test out anything from the brand, and so far there has only been one thing that I tried that just really didn't work for me. Recently, when I got the chance to sample a couple of new products from the brand, I was more than happy to jump right in with both feet! The first new product that I'm going to review for you is the Paula's Choice RADIANCE Renewal Mask*. Since an overnight mask is one of my favorite skin care products and I've had such success with some others in the past, this was definitely being held to a pretty high standard.

The RADIANCE Renewal Mask is formulated for all skin types to promote a more radiant skin tone, softer surface texture, and a hydrated plumpness for an overall youthful glow. The silky lotion texture includes ultra-soothing ingredients to improve skin tone and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This overnight mask has a uniquely luxurious feel that provides the ultimate beauty sleep imaginable.

Since I've been testing this product, I've been using it about twice a week as the last step in my nighttime skin care routine. I've tried it both on top of my night cream and in place of it, and I actually find that I actually wake up the following morning with skin that feels and looks very much the same either way. Because of that, I've switched to only using this in place of my night cream because I feel like I don't want to load my skin up with TOO many products. (Let's be real, my nighttime skin care routine is basically ridiculous.) One thing that I really want to stress with this product is that you need to wash your face in the morning. While I don't feel it leaves too much residue on the face, I do feel like there is some residual product that can disrupt your makeup left behind, and it's best to give a good cleanse after using it.

On the back of my hand in the photo below is one full pump of the mask and I find that this is enough product to apply liberally over my face and neck. I find that it's best to apply this at least a half hour before bed to give it a little bit of time to dry and soak into the skin, because it can be a little bit sticky and I don't want to waste any product smearing it onto my pillow. I actually find that this is a good thing to do with my night time routine regardless of what products I'm using, but I find it particularly important with overnight masks because I feel like the nature of them is to sink in a little slower than a night cream.

The most striking thing that I've found after using this product is how deeply hydrating it really is for my skin. When I wake up after wearing this all night, my skin feels hydrated on a different level than it does using just my night cream. It feels plump and supple to the touch, which is a feeling that I'm actually fairly new to as I really start to take better care of my skin. I think that for people with really dry or dehydrated skin, which is what I used to have, this product could be an absolute revelation for that reason alone. I have also noticed that my skin tone does look a little bit more even and naturally luminous after using this product, but the biggest result that I notice is definitely the hydration and plumpness of my skin.

I have to say, I've really, really enjoyed using this product and I think it's going to be an absolute staple in my skin care routine during the colder months when I really need to make sure that I'm consistently hydrating my skin. Dullness and dryness are my biggest winter skin care concerns, and this product is so far so good on help to remedy those particular concerns!
