MANI MONDAY: Cozy Fall Textile Nails
Hey guys! I have to confess, I was sick this past weekend and didn't really have the motivation to even be upright, much less to paint my nails. Luckily, the mani that I've been wearing for almost a week now fits pretty perfectly into the #CBBxManiMonday theme this week, which is Fall! It's admittedly a pretty wide open theme, which was pretty perfectly timed. Apologies for doing plaid nails two weeks in a row... it couldn't be helped and I just really, really like them!

I was really, really excited to pick up China Glaze's Mustard The Courage from their new fall collection, which is what I used as a base for three of the nails in this mani. It's a really gorgeous true mustard colour that's exploding on trend for Fall 2018. For my first and pinkie fingers, I couldn't resist doing the brown and crimson plaid pattern that just absolutely screams fall to me. The brown I chose for the plaid as well as the cable knit stamping was Trust Fund Beauty's $12 Latte, which wasn't the most opaque for stamping but have me exactly the sort of shade that I was looking for when stamped over the mustard. For the red stamping and my accent nail, I went for an old favorite in the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri formula - so often a fantasic mainstream option for stamping - in the shade Cinna Snap. I finished with a thick coat of Seche Vive and this mani has lasted me about 6 days, I think, with only very minimal tip wear!
Like I said, I was hoping to have something new and fresh for you guys this week, but life definitely happened to my body and I was lucky that I still had a very on theme nail art look already on my nails.
For more fall nail art, head over to Cosmetic Proof, See The World In PINK, and Tea & Nail Polish to see what they put together for this week's #CBBxManiMonday! Be sure to check back next week for more (inevitably fall tied in) nail art and head over to my nail at Instagram @pblnails to keep up to date on what's on my nails!
