CHRISTMAS NAIL ART: Decorative Red & White Happy Holidays Nails
WELL, here we are.... Christmas Eve! Since this is the last offering I have for this year's Christmas Nail Art marathon, I wanted to do two very specific things. First - I wanted to keep it super solidly Christmasy in both design and color. And second - since it's Christmas Eve and you're maybe looking for a little inspiration for a quick design to throw on for your holiday celebrations - I wanted to keep it really simple. So I grabbed a stunning red base, some white stamping polish, and a single stamping plate and just went crisp and clean!

Snozzberry from Cirque Colors is one of those polishes that just screams Christmas to me. I'm not much of a red polish wearer anymore, really, but when it comes to this time of year I feel like a bold red nail is just the thing and that's when I tend to grab for this one. In fact, if you want to see it used in another holiday mani from earlier this month, check out this mani where I used it as a base for a plaid.
Snozzberry is a burgundy red jelly polish that is just packed with iridescent flakes and ends up having a really interesting contrast between the cool toned base and the warm flakes. For this mani, I did two coats of Snozzberry, which didn't quite get me to full opacity but did give good coverage and camouflaged my nail line.
As I said above, I wanted to keep the stamping really simple with this mani, so I grabbed for the Whats Up Nails B034 Stamping Plate and chose three festive, decorative images to use for this mani along with . For my first, pinkie and thumb nails I used this sort of snowflake garland image that I feel like will be one of those ones I always use in some way during the holidays. For my middle finger, I used this dangling ornament image that fills the nail really well. And finally, for my ring finger I decided I wanted to add some text so I went for the "Happy Holidays" full cover image.
Once I was happy with my design, I sealed it in with a nail art top coat before finishing with a generous layer of quick dry glossy top coat - and voila!

At the risk of being cliché, I can't believe it's already Christmas! Admittedly - and not to dampen the mood too much... - COVID has sort of ruined this Christmas for me and I'm currently really, really sad that my family doesn't get to be together this year, our first since my brother passed over the summer. But sharing all of these festive nails has been a highlight this year and I'm really happy with how it has gone.
Thank you so much for reading and if you want to see all of the Christmas nails I posted this year, you can click here to scroll through them all.
I hope everyone has the safest, happiest possible holiday season this year - whatever and wherever you celebrate, or even if you don't. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!
