HALLOWEEN NAIL ART | Spooky Haunted House Silhouette Nails
I have to admit, it sort of feels like it's not Halloween if I haven't done some sort of haunted house or graveyard silhouette nails. Honestly, they've always been some of my favorite Halloween nail designs and I still get excited to put one together every year.

For the base for this design, I decided to go with one of my personal favorite sunset gradients. A bright orange to purple sky always gets the job done, I think, but there's something particularly satisfying about it with a Halloween design. I started by applying a very light peach shade just to give myself something to build onto. Once that was dry, I went in with my gradient sponging using a neon orange, neon pink, rich berry, and a neon purple. I did three passes of sponging to get my desired opacity and blend, but I actually think I probably could have gotten away with two.
To smooth out my gradient and give a little bit of extra visual interest to the base, I then applied one coat of a warm toned iridescent flakie topper. Using a flakie or glitter topper over a gradient always helps to smooth out your blend and make everything look a bit more seamless.
For the stamping, I wanted to keep it pretty simple but also add that glow to the background. I grabbed for the Uberchic Beauty Halloween 05 stamping plate, which has been around for years at this point and still stands out in my collection. For the outer nails, I kept it really simple with a bat image. For my middle finger, I applied the haunted house image. And finally, for my ring finger, I went with the reaper in the graveyard image. I started by applying each image in yellow and then carefully layered the same image in black over it to get that background glow.
Once I was happy with my design, I cleaned up my edges using a small brush dipped in acetone. Next, I went in with a nail art top coat to seal everything in and prevent smudging. And finally, I finished with a generous layer of glossy top coat for shine. And voila!
