This post is inspired by true events... We've all had those mornings when the alarm on your phone goes off and you think you're ready to get up, so you turn it off instead of snoozing it for another 10 minutes of sleep. And then you roll over and it's been longer than you thought and suddenly you have 20 minutes to get out the door and you still have to feed the dog and decide what to wear. You can choose to go without makeup or just throw on a little mascara, but when you're a makeup junkie and it comes down to it... It's all about getting a full face in there before it's time to go. Am I right?

I love playing with makeup for the holidays. Generally, I go one of two ways when I'm actually attending holiday events - Full old Hollywood glam with nude eyes, fierce black winged liner, and a punchy red lip, or a more cozy, warm smoky eye type of a look, usually with red lips as well. I mean, really, is there any better time of year to rock an over the top red lip?
