I love playing with makeup for the holidays. Generally, I go one of two ways when I'm actually attending holiday events - Full old Hollywood glam with nude eyes, fierce black winged liner, and a punchy red lip, or a more cozy, warm smoky eye type of a look, usually with red lips as well. I mean, really, is there any better time of year to rock an over the top red lip? I had the opportunity to create a holiday look courtesy of THEFACESHOP and I feel like it really captures exactly the type of look that I love for the holidays that pretty much anyone could pull off.

Keep reading to take a closer look at the products and find out how I put together this look!

With this look, I started with the eyes first using the Dual Baked Shadow in OR01*. I really wanted to use both shades for this look, because I feel like they're paired really beautifully. I started by using the copper shade wet and packed it onto the inner 2/3 of my lids up to the crease. I then packed the olive shade (wet) onto the outer 1/3 of the eye. Finally, I used a fluffy brush and some of the olive shade dry to blend out and soften the edged. For the lower lash line, I smudged the olive shade from the outer corner until just short of the tear duct and then finished with the copper quite generously around the inner corner. What I like about the combination of these two shades is that they bring a warm smokiness with a decent helping of festive shimmer.

For liner, I applied the Color Proof Eye Liner in 02 Brown* in a fairly thick line along the upper lash line and finished with a subtle wing. This eyeliner is pretty much bullet proof, which makes it perfect for nights out, and really easy to apply with the firm, pointed wand applicator.

Finally, to finish the eyes, I applied 2 generous coats of the Freshian Volumizing Mascara* to the upper lashes and 1 coat to the lower lashes. I especially love this mascara for the lower lashes, because it really makes them pop.

On my cheeks, I applied the Single Blush in OR01*. This blush is a very light peachy shade that brings a nice warmth and dimension to the cheeks without really looking like there's a lot of product there, which makes it perfect for this type of look where you don't want anything to detract from the eyes and lips.

Finally, speaking of the lips, I first lined them to make sure that I got a crisp lip line and then applied the Ink Lipquid in RD02 Red Sing*, which is a really vibrant cherry red shade perfect for the holidays. This product is very glossy and applies really smooth and opaque on the lips.

Super easy, right? I think anyone could easily (and affordably) pull of this look!
