I can't really say that I'm a HUGE K-Pop fan in general, but I can definitely say that I'm a huge Big Bang fan. Admittedly, it started as a novelty enjoyment of the camp that transformed into a genuine enjoyment of the music. Funny how that happens, right? Anyway, as I mentioned in a recent favorites post, Big Bang is doing something kind of interesting with their new album, MADE. Rather than release a single or two and then drop the whole album, they're releasing 2 singles at the beginning of every month, complete with music videos, for a total of 5 months. To  me, it seems like a pretty brilliant way to stay on the charts for 5 solid months - and maybe even have the entire Top 5 in South Korea. Smart smart smart. Anyway, this month they released Bang Bang Bang, which is a very upbeat, anthemic dance song, and We Like 2 Party.

We Like 2 Party is a great summer song. At first listen, I wasn't entirely sold on it, but after seeing the video and getting into the spirit of it, I LOVE it. In fact, I think it's my favorite of the 4 MADE releases that have dropped so far. Weirdly enough, this isn't at all like the Big Bang I usually love, but there's a lighthearted smoothness about it that just makes me feel happy. I feel like this is the kind of song that any summer video montage could be set to, know what I mean? I don't know... I just really like it and I find the video, in which they seem to clearly get actually drunk, really charming and fun, which always helps.
