As you guys know if you saw the Sneak Peek at this month's Glossybox that I posted last week, I was very, very excited to receive this box. I absolutely adore French pharmacy products, so knowing that this box would be filled with them I was absolutely stalking my mailbox hoping that it would arrive quickly. This box has a little bit of everything - including the most beautiful box designed by illustrator Jamie Lee Reardin. I don't want to dilly dally too much, so let's get to the products... and a bit of a closer look at the box!

Keep reading to take a look inside!

How beautiful is this box, you guys? The illustration, which includes all of the French landmarks that you would expect as well as a chic French woman dressed all in red, is absolutely beautiful. I love the style of it with the simple but intricate sketches all in black and white accented by the pops of colour. On top of the outside of the box being absolutely gorgeous, the box also has the madamoiselle pictured on the inside of the lid as well as the bottom of the box. I swear, this box could not be more special!

1. NUXE Gentle Exfoliating Gel with Rose Petals
2.6oz Full Size - Value $24.00
Skin in need of a little summer rehab? This exfoliating gel utilizes antioxidant-filled lychee, rose petals, and ground walnut shells to exfoliate and eliminate dead skin cells. Gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin, your complexion will be radiant and ready to face the fall.
NUXE is a brand that is widely available in Canada and has some downright cult products, but I admit I've never tried it. I'm looking forward to giving this exfoliating gel a try soon, because at this time of year as the temperature starts to dip I need to be a little bit more aware of my exfoliation game. I think this product is a very well chosen selection for fall.

2. PHYTO Phytokératine Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray
1oz Deluxe Sample - Value $6.40
Too busy to fuss over a time-consuming hair routine? All you need is a quick spritz of this heat-protection spray prior to styling and you're on your way! It detangles, protects hair from heat and breakage while preventing future damage. Say goodbye to fried, brittle locks.

This is a generous and beautifully packaged sample. With a heavy, frosted glass bottle and a sprayer that gives a really fine mist, this feels like a very high end hair product. Also... It smells absolutely amazing. I can't really place the scent, but it reminds me of a skin care product that I've used in the past. I've only tested this out for mist and scent, but I can't wait to try it on my actual hair.

3. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis
5ml Deluxe Sample - Value $15.42
Rooted in Sophistication, this contemporary fragrance house exudes the indescribable qualities of traditional French perfumeries. Bergamot from Calabria, lemon from Sicily, and lily of the valley, are all native Italian notes that can be found in this scent. Both woody and citrusy, Aqua Universalis evokes the ideals of a modern Marie Antoinette.

I love when Glossybox includes fragrance samples because they're never the piddly little tube that I can get for free at a counter or Sephora that other subscription services tend to include. This has a very pretty, simple bottle that I don't mind sitting amongst the rest of my fragrances. Like another fragrance that I received previously in a Glossybox, this reminds me of a much more luxe and high end version of a scent that I remember wearing as a teenager. It's soft but sophisticated and pretty and I think a lot of people would enjoy the scent.

4. Lollipops Make Up Paris Nail Lacquer in Voyage A Paris
0.4oz Full Size - Value $10
Statement nails are all the rage this season and Lollipops Make Up Paris has created just the right shade to keep you trending from work out to night out. A quintessential color that never goes out of style, this red hue will become a staple part of your beauty routine.

Who doesn't love red nail polish? This one from Lollipops Make Up Paris is actually a really, really good one. It has more of a jelly texture to it and it sets to a very shiny and even finish. Two coats got it mostly opaque when I swatched it on my accent nail and I can't wait to do a full manicure with it. I think the inclusion of red is perfect for the theme, because there's something very classic about the colour that feels like it suits a French theme.

5. De Bruyère Paris Red Lipgloss
0.17oz Full Size - Value $17.50
Retreat to centuries past and allow yourself to be transported to the famed Moulin Rouge with this bright, Parisian inspired red lip gloss. Long-lasting and highly pigmented, with this on your lips you're guaranteed to be the center of attention.

As you guys probably know, I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss, particularly not bright, bold shades. However, this is a very nice one and if I were to decide that I wanted glossy red lips I would reach for this. It is a highly pigmented cherry red shade that gives a lot of shine without a sticky finish. I was really surprised by the scent of this product because it reminds me SO MUCH of the Cherry Mr. Sketch marker that I loved sniffing so much when I was in elementary school. Anyone else remember that scent? This is bang on.

Total Value: $73.32
