HOLIDAY 2015: Hard Candy Sets @ Walmart
At this time of year, it seems like everywhere you look in the online beauty space, there's amazing and beautiful gift sets. Of course, a lot of those gift sets are of the high end variety and, as beautiful as they are, it's hard to justify the purchase of all of the ones that we all want. Along with all of the high end goodies, there are actually a lot of great drug store holiday sets that just aren't easily attainable for us Canadian girls. It was with that in mind that I decided to do a little looking around and see what we do have. During a trip to Walmart earlier this week, I noticed that they really had some adorable sets from Hard Candy out on the shelves, so I decided to do a little bit of research and I found that there are a TON of kits out there from Hard Candy this year and I decided to share them.
(These are the Canadian sets at the Canadian prices, but I believe that they're pretty much the same in both price and packages at US Walmarts as well.)

I saw these in store and they're actually pretty adorable. My personal pick would be the polish one, but that's really only because I don't really wear lip gloss. For a gloss lover, the lip set is actually a pretty great deal.

How cute are the crackers? I think every brand should do crackers!

The eyeshadows in this set are VERY glittery and the bronzer looked very, very warm in person (read: Orange.) Also, the brushes looked terrible.

In my local store, I also saw a display of Hard Candy ornaments with mini lip glosses and nail polishes, and I believe they were $0.97 each. Cute stocking stuffers for adolescents and teens.
Because I'm a big fan of Hard Candy nail polishes and baked products, my picks would be any of the nail polish sets as well as the Baked Face Collection. I would also say that the Advent Calendars are a pretty good choice as well, simply because they're really fun and affordable. I'd say these would be great gifts for the younger people on your list, especially teens. As I said above, Hard Candy can be pretty hit and miss, but I feel like you really can't go wrong with the nail sets especially.
