REVIEW: Paula's Choice RESIST Skin Firming Line Minimizer
*Product was provided for PR purposes.
Now that I'm in my 30s, I'm definitely seeing the effects of aging (and the fact that I took such crappy care of my skin before I was in my 30s) and it's pretty annoying. For me, the biggest sign that I'm not as young as I used to be is the fine lines I get around my eyes, specifically on the inner part of my eyelid and right under my lower lashline. Anyone else have this same issue that I do? I'm pretty certain that a lot of people do. Anyway, even my favorite eye creams don't really make any difference when it comes to those pain in the ass lines, but recently I've been using the Paula's Choice RESIST Skin Firming Line Minimizer* as the last step in my nighttime skincare routine - and I am pretty much amazed.

About The Product:
What makes this product unique?
Resist Skin Firming Line Minimizer contains a targeted, research-proven anti-wrinkle complex that works to rev up cellular metabolism, "telling" skin to begin producing collagen as it did when we were young. The result? Visibly firmer skin! Proven barrier repair and cell-communicating ingredients help repair damaged elastin so skin regains some of its youthful "bounce." This concentrated complex produces anti-wrinkle results similar to retinol, so is an alternative for those sensitive to this ingredient—or it can be used in conjunction with a retinol product for enhanced results. The state-of-the-art airless dropper allows for precision dispensing while keeping the ingredients protected from light and air exposure.
Who is this product for?
Anyone wanting to improve the appearance of visible signs of aging, especially around the mouth and eyes. Perfect for those sensitive to retinol or may be used with a retinol product or any other anti-aging treatment.
First of all, let's talk packaging, shall we? I'm pretty much in love with this packaging and henceforth want every single serum I use to be packaged this way. Essentially, what you do is you remove the cap and then press the end of the tube to dispense a drop into your hand. This means no wasted product - which is good since the cost of this product is $50/0.5oz., so you want to make sure not to waste any. And really, I find that I only need a single drop to cover all of the areas I want to cover.
I've been mainly using this around my eyes, since that's where most of the lines I want to take care of are, and then using whatever's left on my smile lines. But really, my main focus is to deal with the fine lines and crepey appearance around my eyes. Guess what! It WORKS! The very first day after I used this, I looked in the mirror in the morning and literally saw a difference in the appearance of the skin around my eyes. Now, it's not like a miracle, but it is an actual visible difference in the look of my skin. It also feels different, softer and more elastic, and my makeup is applying more smoothly.
So basically, I'm obsessed with this stuff. Now, I do have to say that I don't know how this will work on deeper wrinkles or more mature skin, since I can only speak for someone in her early 30s, but I can definitely say that I've seen a distinct improvement in a very short time and I'm excited to see how it goes as I continue using this product!
So far, Paula's Choice has really been doing me right and I'm excited to try more from the brand. Any recommendations?
