So, in the summer, I always seem to get little bumps on the backs of my upper arms. I've heard this is a pretty common thing and met a lot of people with the same issue, and some research tells me that the best way to deal with them is to exfoliate. Now, to be clear, this isn't a skin condition that requires a dermatologist and there's no irritation from them, they're mostly just annoying when I want to wear tank tops and have my arms look good. Anyway, recently I got the chance to test out the BVspa Sugar & Salt Scrubs* and I figured that the best way to put them to the test was to see how they did with my annoying little arm bumps.

Before I go into the products themselves, I wanted to talk a little bit about the company. Lavender & Rosemary Sugar Scrub*

Because I generally shower at night, this is perfect for me. I find the scent of this scrub to be absolutely lovely - something I was surprised by because I tend not to be the biggest fan of lavender. Anyway, this was actually the first scrub of the three that I tried out and I was instantly on board. I used this all over my body with a real focus on my upper arms as well as my chest and when I got out of the shower my skin felt incredibly smooth without any sensitivity or feeling like it had been too rough. I also do think that this scent helped me to calm down and relax so that I was ready to curl up with some Bob Ross and then drift off to sleep.

Pink Grapefruit Sugar Scrub*

I have tried this and I do find that the texture and formula is pretty much identical to the Lavender & Rosemary version, but this has a VERY strong scent of grapefruit which isn't my favorite so I don't think this is one that I'll be reaching for all over my body. When I tried this out, I used it on my feet, which have pretty much been tucked into nothing but flip flops all summer and definitely needed a little extra TLC. I found that this definitely did do a good job of exfoliating, but I prefer the sugar scrubs for body and the salt scrub for my feet.

Pomegranate & Acai Berry Salt Scrub*

This scent is SO NICE. It's got that sweetness that is cut through by something else that all of my favorite berry scented products have. I have used this on my body and I do like it for that, but what I really love it for is my feet and calves. I feel like the salt holds up a little bit better to water than the sugar does and so this can make it through and intense foot scrubbing but again isn't too harsh or abrasive so as to leave my skin feeling tender.

Overall I'm really impressed with these scrubs and looking forward to continuing to use them. Because of my tastes and the fact that I shower at night, my favorite is the Lavender & Rosemary Sugar Scrub*, but the Pomegranate & Acai Berry Salt Scrub* is also really, really enjoyable. If you're a fan of the crisp, bright scent of pink grapefruit, I would say that you'll probably really enjoy the Pink Grapefruit Sugar Scrub*, but if that's not a scent you're into I would stick with one of the other two because it is really, really strong. Now that I've gotten a taste of the BVspa by Bon Vital products, I'm definitely looking forward to trying out more!
