REVIEW: Paula's Choice RESIST Brightening Essence*
In the past couple of years, I've gotten the chance to try out a handful of products from Paula's Choice and I've so consistently been impressed by the product that I'm pretty much game to try anything the brand has on the table. Recently, you may have read my review of the Paula's Choice Radiance Renewal Mask*, which I absolutely loved and have still be reaching for a couple of times a week as an overnight treatment. At the same time as the launch of that product, the company also released the Paula's Choice RESIST Brightening Essence* - which, because of the type of product that it is, took me a little longer to test.

As you can see, this product comes packaged in a sleek white bottle with a pipette cap that makes for really easy use. I know that a lot of people aren't huge fans of dropper type packaging, specifically preferring an airless pump, but for products of this consistency I actually prefer it because it dispenses the product quite easily and with control of how much you dispense. The bottle itself is also opaque, so it does offer protection to the ingredients from light.
When applied, this spreads smoothly over the skin with a silky texture, but as you rub it in I do find that it gets a little bit tacky. I like to use this as a part of my evening skin care routine between my retinol and my treatment oil steps. You can use this during the day, and I have, but I've just been gravitating more towards it as a part of my nighttime skin care.
I've been using this consistently (about 3-4 times a week) for the past month and I've definitely seen an improvement in the overall brightness and tone of my skin. I find that my skin looks really healthy and much more even without makeup. I also do find this to give a nice added hydration and plumping to the skin. Overall, I have to say that I'm really happy with the results when used as a part of my regular skin care routine and I will definitely continue to use this.
