I think I've always been a fragrance person, but as I've gotten older it's gotten even more intense. I think a part of that is that I'm absolutely convinced that my sense of smell has gotten more intense as I've gotten older, so I like to be surrounded by scents that influence how I feel in a positive way. I could go into a whole rant right now about my violent reaction to bad smells... but that is NOT what was this is about. Instead, this is about a scent that I really, really love and that inevitably makes me feel all of the good things. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not good at describing fragrance in any kind of technical fashion, so this will undoubtedly be a lot of emotional description.

Now, onto the good stuff! Keep reading take a closer look at CLEAN Cashmere Eau De Parfum*. 

CLEAN Cashmere is like being wrapped in the softest, most precious cashmere. It opens with sparkling bergamot, lime, cedar leaf, and lavendin with a floral heart of bright mimosa, velvet jasmine, and subtle guaiacwood. And ends with comforting tonka bean, sensual musks, and creamy sandalwood. 

"Warm" is a favorite adjective of mine, both to use and to experience Not warm in regards to temperature or tone so much as warm in regards to an emotional reaction to things. Warm smell, warm taste, warm touch, etc. is about a comforting, pleasant, happy feeling in my vernacular. For me, CLEAN Cashmere Eau De Parfum is the definition of a fragrance that evokes a really soft warmth. It doesn't have the sharpness of a spicy warmth, it's very much a gentle warmth. It's soft and subtle, but at the same time really present, if that makes sense.

I think, for me, that's the thing that always strikes me about all of the CLEAN fragrances. When I think about them, they're less like a punch in the face and more like someone stroking your cheek. For me, CLEAN Cashmere is very much present when you wear it, but isn't ever overpowering, and really lasts well throughout the day. In fact, as I write this, I've been wearing the fragrance for about 7½ hours and I keep touching my nose to my wrist to get a nice whiff of it.

Honestly, I don't know that I'd ever thought about what cashmere would smell like, but having smelled this I can really say that CLEAN Cashmere really evokes for me what cashmere feels like - and I LOVE it. I've actually been reaching for this consistently recently and I always get that little boost of pleasant feelings when I apply it. 

If you don't own this or haven't gotten a nose full of it yet, I would definitely recommend that you do. I think that this fragrance will really appeal to a wide range of tastes, because it's gentle but has pretty complex notes. Seriously, try it out.
