SUBSCRIPTION: Monthly Watch Club

by - December 08, 2017

You guys know that I love a subscription service. I've mentioned quite a few here on the blog, but I'm always interested in trying out new ones. I swear, if it was in the budget, I'd be subscribed to so many it would be ridiculous. Anyway, recently I got the opportunity to try out the Canadian watch subscription service called Monthly Watch Club*, which I was super excited about because I love finding Canadian subscription services.

Monthly Watch Club is... well, exactly what it sounds like. It's a subscription service where subscribers are sent a different custom-made watch each month. They started with mens watches, but have now moved in to womens watches as well. There are four different subscription plans on the site: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. Pretty straight forward, right?

The watch I received to show you guys is the October 2017 Female Watch and I'm really, really happy with it. One thing I really like is that there was a card included in the watch box that has the specs about this particular watch. I actually really, really like that because I didn't notice it at first and I was curious about what materials this watch was made of. If you're curious... The case material is an alloy, the face is glass, the strap is leather, and the movement is Japanese quartz. The case diameter is 36mm and the band length is 23.5cm. Handy, right?

I really, really love the look of this watch. The face is white and rose gold with a very minimalist type of style and the band is a sort of camel colour that feels really sturdy and looks quite modern, in my opinion. It's a fairly chunky watch, which is absolutely my personal preference, and overall I find it feels really well made and sturdy.

I really can't fault the quality of this watch at all, particularly for the cost of this subscription box. It feels like it's well made and sturdy and it keeps really good time, at least in the week or two I've been wearing it. I think it looks really good - and looking through their previous watches I really feel like they're good about changing up styles each month so that subscribers will have variety in their collection.

Overall, if you or someone you know is a fashionable person who is a big fan of accessories, particularly watches, I would definitely give a thumbs up to checking out Monthly Watch Club. The monthly plan is $39.99 + $7 shipping within Canada and they also offer 3 month, 6 month and yearly subscriptions.

Thanks for reading!
