With the second wave of the always anticipated spring Sephora sale starting tomorrow, April 20, for VIBs and Beauty Insiders, I decided to peruse the Sephora website and see if there was anything I'd like to pick up. And by that I clearly mean that I wanted to check out the site and see what was new that gave me heart eyes. And because I've been loving doing these wishlists so much the past few months, I decided to put together a Sephora-specific wishlist that's comprised mostly of higher cost items that are easier to justify when you can get the 15% discount.
Keep reading for my personal picks for this season's Sephora sale!
$54CAD | One of my all time favorite face palettes is the Too Faced Love Flush Blush Palette and I still reach for it consistently, so of course this new - and absolutely gorgeous - cheek palette was going to get a little more of my attention. I haven't seen it in person yet, but the shades look absolutely bang on for my taste and skin tone and I just have some serious grabby hands for it.
$100CAD | The more that I learn about Drunk Elephant as a brand, the more interested I am in really giving their products are more solid go. I've tried a few small sizes and really enjoyed them, but this set that contains 15ml sizes of the C-Firma Day Serum and the Framboos Glycolic Night Serum feels like a great way to give a solid try to both of the transformative serums from the line. I want this set pretty badly.
I don't know that I've ever seen a foundation with such hugely polar reviews. People either love this or hate it - which clearly makes me feel like I need to see for myself. What I've heard from reviewers also really seems like it would be up my alley as far as my personal taste is concerned, but really a lot of wanting this is just based on burning curiosity.
You've seen this in one of my wishlists before and I'm still all hearteyes and grabbyhands for it. More and more recently I've been drawn towards nighttime skin care with the added promise of helping me sleep and I've heard nothing but good things about how this performs both as skin care and as a soothing sleep aid. I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on this and try it out.
What really draws me to this particular palette is the curation, which is absolutely right up my alley and already has me thinking about the summer nights and fall days makeup looks that I could get from this palette. It's also insanely well reviewed, which is always a big drawn. I actually think this might be something that goes beyond wishlist to cart this weekend.
This is 100% on this list because of hearing some absolute RAVES about how it performs underneath foundation - essentially making any foundation look amazing and flawless. And yes, I am succeptable to such things, especially from certain Influencers that I personally trust. So yeah. I want this one real bad.
Honestly, I don't remember the last time I bought something from Urban Decay and really loved it. I think I'm just not personally a fan of some of their formulas. That being said... this palette is just so pretty and perfect for spring. I love the shade selection and it just has me thinking of really fresh, blossom-type makeup looks and that's enough for me to put it on this list.
It's about that time when I really start reaching for my SPF with more consistency than during the colder months, when I can get a little bit less diligent about it. I've heard good things about this one and I know that DE is consistent in leaving out some of the more irritating and sensitizing ingredients from their formulas, which makes this of particular interest to me personally.
Like the Backtalk palette, this makes the list because it makes me think of really fresh spring makeup looks. However, because I've heard so many incredible things about VISEART eyeshadows, which I've still yet to try, that makes this one a little bit more interesting to me as far as eyeshadow is concerned. I love the shades, the packaging is stunning, and I feel like there's no chance I'd be disappointed by this one.
Finally, another thing that I've always wanted to get my hands on is one of the Guerlain Terracotta powders and this new one, with its sort of multitonal sunburst pattern, is just absolutely gorgeous. I mean... I look at this and I just know that it would make my summer skin look incredible. And as such... GIMME!
I feel like my mood got weirder as I wrote this, which I am chalking up to hunger since I didn't have breakfast this morning, rather than consumer madness that turns me into a crazy little kid the more I think about the beauty things that I want... ANYWAY! I'd love to hear in the comments what's on your wishlist, what you picked up last weekend during the VIB Rouge sale, or what you wish you could justify picking up this weekend, so please let me know!
Thanks for reading - and Happy Shopping!
