THIS POST IS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PUEEN COSMETICS.
When I sat down to do today's mani, I was in the mood for something pretty simple - simple by my metrics, anyway, which I fully understand don't entirely mesh with other people's version of simple. I think the trickiest thing when it comes to keeping nail art simple is finding that balance between simplicity and impact. I like even my simple designs to still have visual interest.
With that in mind, let's get to the nails, shall we?
For my base polishes, I decided to go with two sort of muted crelly polishes absolutely packed with metallic flakies from Cuticula. Unwind is a really pretty lilac shade that is absolutely jam packed with very pink leaning rose gold flakies and Cardigan is a soft sage green packed with gold flakies. Unfortunately, both of these shades came from collabs, so they aren't available anymore, but I do highly recommend keeping an eye out for this style of polish because they're just so stunning.
To start this mani, I alternated the polishes across my hand and applied two coats of each.
For the stamping, I really wanted to keep it quite simple and I decided to isolate a really small edge of the Pueen 69 Stamping Plate (which is a part of the 24B Stamping Buffet Plate Collection). This slightly curved line of leaves just felt like the perfect addition to bring a good amount of visual interest while still keeping things overall quite simple. I decided to alternate my placement of the image, applying it to one side of the lilac nails and the opposite side of the sage nails.
Once I was happy with my design, I sealed everything in with a nail art top coat and then finished with a generous layer of glossy top coat for shine and volume. And voila!

Honestly, I'm so happy with how this turned out. It really is quite simple (and came together really quickly) but it has enough something to keep it interesting and works pretty beautifully for fall. If you're interested in any of the Pueen products that I used to put together this mani, they are all available from Amazon and every single one gets my stamp of approval!
