Happy Monday, all! This weekend was full enough that I ended up passing out for a nap that was akin to a coma by yesterday afternoon, so when I woke up and remembered I still had to do my nails for Mani Monday, I knew that I didn't have a lot in me. It was actually kind of serendipitous, though, because I've been wanting to share swatches of Cadillacquer's Forest* nail polish for a while now and it fits absolutely perfectly into this month's Blue & Green #CBBxManiMonday theme - and is a polish I'm more than happy to wear through St. Patrick's Day tomorrow!

I don't know what it is about these rich green nail polishes that I'm just so smitten with, but I look at them and I really do feel like there's something sophisticated about them even though they're so outside of traditional nail polish colours. With the addition of the flakies in this one, I just absolutely love the look and don't miss having nail art on at all - this polish is art all on its own. 

Described as an opal green jelly with small holo red glitter and red ultra chrome chameleon flakies, this is a super dimensional and unique polish. These swatches are at three coats with top coat and I personally think three coats is where this really shines because you really get that richness of the green as well as the depth of the flakies. It's pretty easy to apply and any streakiness I had on the first coat was completely evened out after the second. 

When it comes to flakie polishes - which are some of my personal favorites - I think Cadillacquer has been doing some absolutely amazing and truly unique polishes and I personally can't wait to try more.
