I feel like there are a handful of brands that have just been around as long as anyone can remember. The NIVEA Creme has been around for over 100 years now and continues to be one that a lot of people reach for when they need a moisturizer, whether it be for face, hands or body. I definitely have a few long time favorite products from NIVEA that I also seem to go back to! Recently, I had the opportunity to try out a bunch of NIVEA products, both brand new products and some old favorites, through Chickadvisor, and I wanted to share my reviews of them here for you guys!

NIVEA Creme Care Facial Cleansing Wipes*
First off, these have that NIVEA smell that is so absolutely recognizable, which can be a plus or a minus depending on who you are. While that isn't a smell that I'm personally particularly fond of, I don't find it to be a bother at all. I think that these wipes do a pretty good job of getting makeup of my face, but I do find that I need to scrub a little harder than I'd like to. I actually like to use these to freshen up my face when I'm not wearing makeup, because I think it gets rid of any sweat or residue on my skin and helps me feel cleaner and fresher without having to actually wash my face. Because I do prefer a wipe that will easily take off my makeup, these aren't my favorite, but I think they're alright.

NIVEA Creme Care All-In-One Facial Cleansing Lotion*
This was the product I was most excited to try, because cleansing has become a bit of an obsession for me. I want to get this out of the way straight out of the gate - this is definitely not the best choice for taking of your makeup. I find that it just doesn't really get in there and break everything up as easily as, say, a cleansing oil does. That being said, this is absolutely lovely when used as a second cleanse and I think I'm going to be reaching for it a lot as the temperatures get colder and my skin inevitably gets drier. As a skin cleanser, this does a good job of cleaning the skin but leaving it feeling hydrated. I'm not sure that this would be the best option for someone with oily skin, but for dry skinned people I think this will get really high marks. Again with that classic NIVEA smell, also.

NIVEA Protect & Care Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant*
This product, which I've been using consistently for about a week and a half now, is one I'm still not sure about. I actually love a deodorant that is formulated to last 48 hours, because... well, I'm actually kind of a flake about putting on deodorant and I like when I don't have to apply it very often. I did test this for 48 hours and I found that it wasn't quite as effective as some other 48 hour deodorants that I've tried, but it did last pretty well and at the end of the 48 hours, I wasn't a stinky beast or anything. I just wasn't quite as fresh and when I had first applied it. Overall, I do like this deodorant, but it's not my favorite.

NIVEA Essential Caring Lip Balm*
Wanna know how obsessed I am with this lip balm? I literally haven't used another lip balm since I got this. I use it at night before bed, I use it in the morning before my makeup routine to condition my lips and prep them for lipstick, I use it throughout the day if my lips are feeling like they need a little moisture. This lip balm is PERFECT, if you ask me. It's thick enough that it really lasts on the lips and continues to deliver hydration without slipping off and disappearing, but it's not so thick that it feels heavy. It just feels smooth and comfortable on the lips. It also doesn't have any methol in it, which is a preference for me. I don't really get too much of the NIVEA scent from it, but I do think it's subtly there in the background. I've actually been a fan of NIVEA lip balms for a while, but this one has blown all the rest out of the water. Yes, I'm obsessed with it.

The Original NIVEA Creme*
Ahhhh NIVEA Creme. Who hasn't tried this at one point or another in their lives? I feel like I can remember my grandma having this in her house... although I'm not sure if I'm just imagining that because this product has that classic feel. Anyway, I actually really like using this for dry hands, feet and elbows during the drier months because I feel like it does a really good job of getting in there and deeply hydrating while also protecting the skin from drying out. This is the same formula that's been around since 1911, but it's classic and I don't know why you'd ever want to change something that is such a cult product.

The two products that really impressed me from this selection of #NIVEAMustHaves are definitely the All-in-One Facial Cleansing Lotion*, which I know I'll use a lot in the upcoming cold months, and the Essential Caring Lip Balm*, which I suspect I will continue to use literally forever.
