HALLOWEEN NAIL ART: Creepy Orange Halloween Spiderweb Nails

by - October 31, 2021

When I first saw the sneak peeks of the Uberchic Beauty Halloween 07 Stamping Plate, I knew two things. First, I knew that I would be picking it up and using the crap out of it, obviously. And second, I knew that I would be doing this exact mani with these exact polishes in this exact layout. It's a pretty simple, straight forward design without any bells and whistles, but I absolutely love how it turned out and I felt like it was the perfect mani to post for actual Halloween. Sometimes I have to remind myself that you can get really great nail art without having to throw the kitchen sink at it, and I think this mani is definitely evidence of that.

Over the summer, I got to thinking about Halloween nails early and decided I needed to get some interested orange indie polishes to use as bases for this holiday season. It was right around that time that I saw Peachtree Polish's Neon In Paradise listed on Project Artistry and I sort of had to have it. It's described as a bright neon orange polish with iridescent shimmer and purple/blue/green UCC flakes and it's just a stunner, definitely a polish that I'll likely reach for every Halloween.

For this mani, I applied two coats of Neon In Paradise to all of my nails and let them dry down before moving onto my stamping.

The image on this plate of "HALLOWEEN" written in spiderweb was just too good to pass up using, so obviously I had to just go for it. Luckily, they included this other small spiderweb image on the plate that pairs really perfectly with this image - obviously intended, I would guess. This stamping was just super simple to do. I split the HALLOWEEN image in half, with HALLO on my middle finger and WEEN on my ring finger, and then I applied the smaller spiderweb image to my other nails, positioning it so that it gave the feeling that the web was moving towards the outsides of my nails from the center.

Once I was happy with my stamping, I sealed it all in with a nail art top coat and then followed with a layer of quick dry glossy top coat for shine and volume. And voila!

I feel like this mani might have been a little bit boring if not for this really cool, interesting base polish. I think the UCC flakes in the base really add the right kind of texture to add to the sort of spooky vibe of the spiderweb stamping. What more can I say? Oh yeah, this plate is absolute FIRE and I'm so, so glad that I picked it up.

Well... there we have it - 31 days of Halloween nail art designs. I'm kind of sad that it's over but also... I need a nap. If you want to check out all of the mani's I did for this year's spooky season, you can click here to see them all in order.
