Sometimes when I look back through nail art designs that I've done before, I just want desperately to recreate those designs. So for this mani, I went back a couple of years in my own nail art to recreate this design that I put together back in 2021. To be honest, I kept it very much the same as the first time and all I really changed was the color story, which I think is distinctly different and yet no less cozy and features one of my new favorite polishes in my collection.

After swatching Whats Up Nails' Can't Unsee from their 2023 Holiday Collection, I knew that there was no way I was going to let the holiday season go by without using this polish as a base for some nail art. Though I did considering leaning a bit more into the green aspects of this polish for a more full on Christmasy sort of look, in the end I decided to keep the color story much more teal so that you just get those hints of green from the iridescent shimmers, though I will say that when you get that flash reflection from this polish it definitely really sings green. 

To start, I applied three coats of Can't Unsee to all of my nails and let that dry down. 

For the stamping on this design, I reached for my much loved and long-used Nicole Diary L13 Stamping Plate. I'm not even sure if this is still available, but if it is I highly, highly recommend picking it up because it's just great. I started by applying the knit image to all of my nails using a blue-leaning teal stamping polish. Next, I went in with white stamping polish to add in the accents. I applied the reindeer image at the tip of my ring finger and then went in with a couple of snowflakes on each nail, keeping them towards the corners of the nail and playing around with placement to get a cohesive look.

Once I was happy with my design, I sealed it in with a nail art top coat and then finished with a generous layer of glossy top coat for shine and volume. And voila!

Ahhh! I'm so excited to get started in this year's holiday nail art - finally!! - and am so thrilled to start out with this mani.
