I feel like this might be the year of the sheet ghosts for me, if I'm being honest. So many of the designs I found myself wanting to put together for this year's Halloween mani's feature various different sheet ghost designs. For today's mani, I wanted to go a little less cute and a little more creepy than a lot of the other designs I plan on putting together and I think it came together really beautifully!

When it came to deciding on the color story for this mani, I really wanted to stick with a cool, smoky blue vibe and I wanted to bring a base polish that had some interesting elements to it, so of course I had to go for an indie polish. I grabbed for Different Dimension's Come One, Come All, which is a PPU shade from several years ago now that has a steely grey base packed with shifty flakes, shimmers and holographic microglitters. It's so gorgeous, I can barely handle it. 

To start, I applied two coats of my base polish to all of my nails and let those dry before I moved on to my stamping.

For the stamping, I used two different Clear Jelly Stamper plates to create this design. To start, I used CjS-H24 Wicked Halloween for the forest silhouette image, applying that to all of my nails. Next, I went in with CjS-H78 The Ghost, which features several different sheet ghosts (and will definitely get some more attention this month.) I chose 4 of the smaller, creepier looking ghosts. Like all Clear Jelly Stamper plates, this one features layered designs that make it so incredibly easy to put a design together. I started by stamping the body of the ghost in white. Next, I went in with the low lights using a grey stamping polish. And finally, I added the outline in black.

Once I was happy with my stamping, I sealed everything in with a no smudge top coat and then finished with a generous layer of glossy top coat for shine and volume. And voila!
