So... I love makeup brushes. Like I really, really love them. Because my collection is ridiculous and a full brush cleaning takes me a couple of hours, I've been really good for quite a while about picking up more brushes. I decided a while ago that if I was going to get more brushes, I was going to have to do a cull of my current collection first. However, when I first saw a photo of the bh Cosmetics Rose Quartz 9 Piece Brush Set, I pretty much immediately decided that I had to have it... and then a few days later, after forcing myself not to impulse buy, I still wanted it so I just decided to go for it.

So there's this new thing I've been doing recently. On Sunday mornings, I'm usually up before my boyfriend so I head downstairs, make myself a cup of coffee, and watch beauty videos on Youtube. For some reason, a thing that I've always been doing lately is ordering things from bh Cosmetics as well. My most recent purchase is one that I've heard surprisingly little about, but that I absolutely had to have as soon as I saw it, and it's the bh Cosmetics Foil Eyes 28 Color Eyeshadow Palette. This palette is exactly what it sounds like - it's a 28 colour palette filled with every shade of highly reflective eyeshadow that you could possibly need. And damn is it pretty!

By now, I feel like everyone has heard a ton about this palette and been touched by the hype surrounding it, but I only recently decided to order it and give it a try and I definitely have some feelings on it so I thought that I would do a review for you guys! So, like I said, this was a hugely hyped palette because Carli Bybel has a really successful YouTube channel and a lot of viewers. Admittedly, while I've watched some of her videos, I'm not a subscriber and I'm not all that familiar with her. I decided to pick up this palette because I love a neutral palette and I liked the idea of having shadows and highlights in one palette and I thought I would really like the colour scheme.

I have a slight obsession with makeup brushes, I admit. In fact, I think that if money were no object, brushes would be the biggest part of my makeup collection. Alas, I need to think about spending when it comes to things like this so I love a low cost set of brushes. Of course, when it comes to brushes I think it's usually pretty fair to say that you get what you pay for, with a few exceptions. Still, I've actually been lusting after this particular brush set for a while. I can't help it, it has insane rainbow handles and it comes in a stripey tube. I love stripey tubes.
