If you've been reading this blog for a while, you'll know that VICHY is actually a favorite skin care brand of mine. I feel like their products are affordable, effective, widely available, and there's something for pretty much every skin type so anyone can find something that will work for them. Recently, as a member of ChickAdvisor, I had the opportunity to try out their Pureté Thermale Cleansing Routine*. While I had tried one of the products before, I was actually already a huge fan of it, the other two were new to me and I was excited to give them a try. I've been using these products consistently for the past three weeks and I'm ready to give my review.

If you're interested in hearing about my experience, keep reading!

VICHY Pureté Thermale Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover*
The 1st eye makeup remover from Vichy that not only removes waterproof makeup, but also limits the loss of lashes* and respects the fragile eye area. It removes all traces of makeup, even the most resistant. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

I actually tried this for the first time earlier this year as a part of the Elle Canada Beauty Grand Prix Jury and continued using it after my testing was done. I really enjoy this product and I feel like it does a good job of getting in there and removing even my most stubborn eye makeup. As someone who wears waterproof mascara pretty much every day as a mascara primer, this is an important thing for me. A couple of things that are important to me when it comes to eye makeup remover are that I don't have to scrub at my eyes to get the product off and that I don't have to worry about it damaging my lashes. This product ticks both of those boxes for me, which is definitely what makes it a favorite of mine. I also haven't experienced any eye irritation using this product and have never felt like it left too much residue behind on my eyes after use, which are also important. Overall, I think this is a solid eye makeup remover and one I will continue to repurchase in the future.

VICHY Pureté Thermale Fresh Cleansing Gel*
An ultra-performing foaming gel that cleanses away all impurities and pollution residue for a fresh, soft and radiant skin. A gel with an invigorating fruity fragrance that produces a rich and envelopping foam to reveal a fresh and radiant skin. It gives a sensation of freshness upon application.

For me, this is definitely a cleanser that will have to be used in the summer. While I don't find it to be overly stripping on my skin, I don't think it will be hydrating enough for my dry winter skin. I would recommend this for people with normal to oily skin and caution those with dry skin to perhaps try the VICHY Pureté Thermale One Step Milk Cleanser 3-in-1, which I really enjoy using for my winter skin, instead. The way that I use this is to apply one pump to my palm and then add a little bit of warm water to build the foam in my hands before applying it to my face, because I've heard that this makes foaming products less drying on the skin. I then massage it in with my hands for 20 to 30 seconds before going in with a wet konjac sponge for another 30-40 seconds to really get a deep clean on the skin. I find that this leaves my skin feeling really clean and fresh without immediately feeling tight, though I do feel like this works best when I apply my skin care immediately after cleansing.

VICHY Pureté Thermale Skin Renewing Creamy Scrub*
An exfoliating cream specifically formulated for sensitive skin that is both efficient and gentle. Thanks to its NEW environmentally-friendly Jojoba micro-beads, impurities and dead cells are gently lifted off skin's surface, leaving skin smooth and soft, without discomforts or dryness. This unique, rich and creamy texture, provides a pleasurable exfoliation experience.

I feel two ways about this scrub. My preferred way to use scrubs on my face is to use something that gives a pretty intense exfoliation about once a week and use chemical exfoliations such as AHA and BHA products on the other days. I find that this method has really been working well for my skin. Unfortunately, this scrub isn't quite intense enough to replace my other exfoliant. This is definitely more of a gentle scrub that can be used much more frequently and I've heard other people have had success using this as an every-other-night kind of scrub. What I will say is that I did find this did a decent job of lightly exfoliating my skin and was gentle enough that I didn't have any irritation when I used it. It also did feel hydrating and nourishing for my skin so I didn't have any tightness after use. I do think this is a good scrub for a younger skin or for someone who doesn't want to use chemical exfoliants, as well as for people with sensitive skin who are limited in what types of exfoliation their skin can handle. While this isn't necessarily my preferred product, I do think it's quite good and there are a lot of people who would see benefits from using it.

Overall, I continue to enjoy the products from VICHY that I've been able to try thus far. I think that all three of these are good products and have done well for my skin. My personal favorite is the Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover* with the Fresh Cleansing Gel* coming in behind it. Like I said, the Skin Renewing Creamy Scrub* is a good product, but it just isn't what I personally look for in a scrub.
