HALLOWEEN NAIL ART | Smoky Berry Gradient Spiderweb Nails
I don't often do mani's where all of my nails are the same these days, but when I do, I make sure that I have an interesting base to go along with it - mostly! For this mani, I decided to do a style of gradient that I'm not sure I've ever attempted before and then paired it with some really crisp, simple Halloween stamping that I think manages to be impactful despite its simplicity.

For the base of this design, I decided to do a gradient that is light at the center of the nail and then deepens outwards towards both the base and the tip. I decided to keep it all one color because it felt like it would be the most crisp, cohesive way to do it - and I'm definitely glad I did.
I started by applying a one coat of the lightest shade in the gradient to all of my nails and I let that dry down completely. Next, I went in with a makeup sponge and applied my gradient. It took me three passes of stamping to get the desired opacity and blend, with the final pass using almost no polish to really smooth everything out and get a good blend.
When it came to the stamping for this design, I kept it about as simple as it gets - VERY beginner friendly. I started by applying the spiderweb image to each nail, leaving a small amount of space between the tip of the design and the base of my nail. Next, I went in with the bat image and connected it to the tip of the spiderweb design, almost as though they were all one image.
Once I was happy with the design, I sealed it in with a no smudge top coat and then finished with a layer of matte top coat to bring down the shine. And voila!
