FAVORITES: March 2017

by - April 03, 2017

As the weather is starting to get warmer, I'm really noticing the way that I sort of naturally change my routines to suit the season. I tend to reach for different shades and textures without even really thinking about it until I really look at what I've been reaching for. This month's favorites is really, really good and I'm super excited to share them with you guys. I've also been striving to be more organized with this kind of thing, so I've been running a list all month and these are definitely the products that I've been reaching for the most!

Keep reading to see what I've been loving!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure
Because I have the Ambient Lighting Blush Palette, that's what's pictured here, but the specific shade of blush I've been reaching for consistently is Mood Exposure, the shade on the right of the palette. This blush is possibly the most wearable, most versatile blush in my collection. It looks really natural on the skin, but gives that subtle, perfected Ambient Lighting look. I just love it and I have a feeling I will eventually hit pan on it and end up picking it up in full size.

Maybelline Brow Precise Fiber Volumizer
I'm planning on posting a full review of this product later this week, so I won't go too far into detail on it, but I will say that I've officially become obsessed with this brow gel and have been reaching for it literally every single day - whether I'm doing a full beat or just a really natural every day makeup look. It's so freakin' good, I swear.

Maybelline Dream Cushion Liquid Foundation
This is another product I've got a forthcoming review on, but again I needed to mention it because I've been wearing it constantly this month. I love the coverage and finish of this to the absolute moon, and I find that when I apply this with a beautyblender, it's super quick and seamless but with really nice medium coverage.

tarte Tarteist Pro To Go Palette (Review)
I think this palette is probably one of my favorite Sephora finds in a long time. The formula of the shadows is absolutely gorgeous and easy to work with and it's shockingly versatile for only having six shades. Honestly, I definitely think this is a staple that everyone could do with having in their collection and I kind of want to pick up a backup in the Tarteist Treats set that's available at Sephora now. I have literally never picked up a backup of an eyeshadow palette before in my life....

Buxom Plumpline Lip Liner in Stealth (Review)
You might be able to tell in the picture that the branding on this pencil has gotten a little bit rubbed off - that's because it's been living in my purse for the past month. This is just a dreamy nude shade that I think is super easy, wears well on its own and also pairs pretty easily with just about any nude that I choose to pair it with. This one is definitely my favorite of the 8 shades I've tried so far - just need to get my hands on a mauve now!

Avon True Color Lip Crayon in Fairest Nude (Review)
This is another product that has absolutely been living in my purse and has ended up on my lips at some point in pretty much every work day since I've had it. It's just easy and comfortable and the shade is perfect to pair with pretty much any eye and cheek look because it's really soft and natural.

CLEAN Cashmere Eau De Parfum (Review)
This doesn't really scream spring scent to me, so I have a feeling that as it gets warmer this will be a scent reserved for rainy days when I need a little bit of warming comfort. Still, I'm a little bit obsessed with it - to the point that I keep getting people in my life to smell me when I'm wearing it. I'm weird like that, but everyone I've forced to sniff me has loved this fragrance.

MyChelle Dermaceuticals Perfect C Pro Serum (Review)
I've been absolutely loving this serum for day time in the past month and, because of that, I've been really consistent about using it. It's just got this really brightening effect on my skin that I've really seen results with. What more can I say?

Cake The Wave Maker Texturizing Beach Spray
GAME CHANGER. Because having curls is new to me, I've been trying a lot of products to style them and a lot of them are too heavy for my hair because they're (obviously) intended for people with a naturally curly hair texture. I picked this up thinking maybe it would work - and it blew me out of the water. I've been using this every single time I wash my hair and it really helps to define my curls, but in a soft, undone kind of way that I absolutely love. Unlike a lot of other beach sprays, this is also non-drying, so I don't have to worry about it ravaging my hair. I honestly can not say enough good things about this product. OH. And it smells like really sweet lemon, which is pretty much heavy. Obsession.

I always get so excited about favorite posts, because I get to kind of gush all over the products that have been getting it done for me over the past month, but I honestly am feeling extra gushy today because a few of these products have pretty much reached HG status for me. Crazy, right? Honestly, all of these are worth trying out, if they sound like they might be your style.
