I knew without a doubt that I really, really wanted a glittery red jelly base with some good depth to it because it would really add dimension with that crisp white stamping on top, so I decided to go in with one of my favorite gel polishes for the holidays - ASP Soak Off Gel Polish in Selfish*. This polish is perfect for the holiday season, both on its own and as a base for nail art, and it gives me exactly the look I wanted for these nails. I applied two coats, curing each coat for 30 seconds in my LED lamp, and then I used the ASP 2-in-1 Dehydrator & Cleansing Wipe* to remove the tacky layer.

I really wanted to keep the stamping super crisp and clean for this look, so I decided to apply the peppermint swirl image from the What's Up Nails B003 Stamping Plate to my middle two fingers and the candy cane stripe image from the Nicole Diary L13 Stamping Plate to my first and pinkie fingers using white stamping polish. Honestly, considering the impact that this mani gives, it's incredibly quick and easy.

Once I finished with my stamping, I applied a coat of ASP Gel Top Coat* to all of my nails and cured for 30 seconds in the lamp. Again, I removed the tacky layer after curing and voila!

There's just something about a squishy, glittery red gel polish for the holidays, isn't there? I'm so obsessed with how this mani turned out and I feel like it just screams Christmas even though it really is just candy nails. You really just can't go wrong with glittery red & white at this time of year!
