With this winter being sort of all over the place and my skin being in a pretty weird place coming into it after several months of 2020 exhaustion having trimmed down my skin routine to the bare minimum, I was absolutely DYING to try out these two products from the VICHY Liftactiv Supreme line - and so was my skin. Winter on the prairies is pretty rough on most people's skin, I think, and as I get older I'm definitely noticing more and more impact to how my skin behaves as the weather gets colder and drier, so these two products with their focus on a hydration and moisture to bring back that youthful bounce were definitely appealing!

I have to say, I was SUPER excited when I found out that VICHY had reformulated their Aqualia Thermal line and were coming out with four new, exciting products. This line has long been a favorite of mine, particularly for my winter skin, so I was excited to see products that I suspected would work for my normal leaning combination skin type all year around. With a new serum and three different moisturizers, I felt like there would not only be something for everyone, but something for the environmental changes that can influence what types of products we need to use on our skin.

Once upon a time, I thought all makeup wipes were created equal. Now that I'm pretty hardcore about skin care and really take the time to notice the differences, I definitely know that this isn't true. Generally, when I use a makeup wipe, it's either the first step in my cleansing routine or (admittedly) if I'm already in bed and I'm too lazy for a full cleanse but know that if I sleep in my makeup I'll regret it in three days when my skin rebels. In both of those instances, but particularly the second, I want something that's going to work well without leaving my skin tight or irritated.

As you guys know if you read this blog with any frequency at all, VICHY is one of my favorite skin care brands and I've been consistently using their products for the past couple of years or so with really great success. Recently, VICHY released 4 new products in the Idéalia line and, I can tell you, the excitement was real for me as soon as I saw them teased on my social media.The Idéalia line is perfect for women in their 30s, which is where I am currently, and helps to revive dull skin and fight the first signs of aging. Since I first tried the Idéalia Life Serum, this particular range has been a favorite of mine and one that I've used consistently in my routine.
