One of the things that I think discourages some people from getting into nail stamping is that you tend to have to order supplies online. I know that for me, particularly when I decided to get into stamping, the cost of ordering from North American brands and the wait times associated with ordering cheaper products from overseas drove me absolutely crazy. Earlier this year, Essence released a stamping plate and clear stamper available locally in stores, which I think could definitely draw some new people to in, but though they claimed you can use it with any polish, those of us who really enjoy stamping know that isn't entirely true. There are definitely some great polishes that you can get at the drugstore that get it done, but I've found that most of the time a real stamping polish will still always win.

However, recently, I discovered some polishes in the dollarstore that seriously rival some of my stamping polishes and I couldn't resist sharing them with you guys because I know some people will be seriously excited about this find.

Keep reading to take a look at the polishes and check out swatches!

I've done a couple of hauls from Shop Miss A here on the blog before, but I decided to do a dedicated haul of some of their AOA Studio products after seeing some of the products on a Youtube video. I've tried a couple of things from the AOA Studio line before, specifically the face brushes and the blending sponge and I really liked both of them, so I figured there could be some more gems in the line. I mean, at dollarstore prices with products that look like they're stepping it up, how could I resist?

So... I couldn't resist. A couple of months ago, you may have seen my first ShopMissA haul and after I got that order, I was really tempted to do another one but I kept resisting because... Well, I actually have surprisingly good self control when it comes to online shopping and it seemed like there wasn't much that I really needed. Of course, I finally gave it and made another order and I decided to get a few different accessory types things because I didn't get any on my first order and I wanted to give that side of the site a bit of a try. The thing about the accessory side is that they don't restock generally, so you kind of have to take what you can get when you make an order and unfortunately a lot of these things are out of stock now, but I figured I'd show them to you guys anyway!

So without any more adoing, let's look at what I got!

So, I've been thinking about making an order on Shop Miss A for a while now, but I finally actually bit the bullet and did it a couple of weeks ago and I've got my little haul to show you guys. In case you didn't know, Shop Miss A is basically an online dollar store that sells makeup, accessories, and other little odds and ends. I kid you not, everything on this site is $1US - which means each of these items cost me $1.28CAD. Something that I didn't know until very recently was that they also guarantee that everything on their site is cruelty free, which I think is actually incredibly impressive given the price point.

So if you're interested in taking a look at what I grabbed along with my first impressions of everything I got, keep reading!

Welcome to the second edition of Stuff I Tried This Month - a new series I'm trying featuring mini-reviews of products that, for whatever reason, didn't end up getting a full review on the blog. I feel like this will be a place where I stick things like deluxe samples, products that are old, or products that just don't feel like they need their own post. Like last month, I'd love to hear feedback in the comments about what you guys think about this format. I have a LOT of deluxe samples I'm planning on trying out in May, so I have a feeling that next month's post will be a big one!

But for now... let's look at what I tried this month!

At night when I take my makeup off using cleansing oil, I absolutely always remove it with a couple of passes of a warm washcloth. I know a lot of people are into the whole emulsifying thing, but I don't like the feeling of it and since I do a double cleanse I've always felt like this way works best for me. So when I saw these cloths at Dollarama a few weeks ago, I thought they seemed like a good addition to my always necessary stock pile of wash cloths. But then it occurred to me that perhaps these were intended to be used without product, like certain higher end makeup removing cloths are, and that was a bit of a game changer.
