One thing that I saw a lot of when I was scrolling around looking for fall nail art inspiration (this month between Halloween and Christmas can definitely be a little bit tricky) I saw a lot of skittle mani's featuring gradients of warm browns and I felt pretty inspired by the idea. Browns aren't polishes that I tend to reach for often, but I knew that I had some good ones in my collection so I just had to find the right ones. I then decided to add some really simple graphic stamping with some champagne gold shimmer because... why not!

When I saw that Sally Hansen was releasing a second collaboration collection with Sour Patch Kids for this Halloween season, I was super excited. Last year, I picked up three of the shades and did some nail art to feature all of them - you can check it out here, if you'd like - but this year I was lucky enough to be sent along the whole collection to swatch for you guys. This is a limited edition collection, so if you want to get your hands on it, I would recommend some urgency - I can't tell you how many LE Sally Hansen polishes I've slept on and regretted not picking up.

I'm a member of a Sinful Colors fan group on Facebook and it has taught me a few things. The first thing is that fans of Sinful Colors will go to great lengths to complete their collections and get their hands on limited edition or hard to find shades. The second is that here in Canada we don't get even a fraction of the cool stuff that the brand releases. I'm a big fan of Sinful Colors and I think they put out some of the most interesting and unique collections in the drugstore, but as a Canadian I definitely get a little bummed when we don't get the new, exciting releases. That said, the Sinful Colors Essenchills Collection, which is a scented collection that was released in the states earlier this year, has finally come to Canada and I could not resist tracking down every shade and swatching them here for you!

For years now, the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes have been a staple in my collection - in the drugstore they're some of the best, in my opinion, with incredible pigmentation and an easy to apply, quick dry formula. In recently years, they've also been doing some really interesting and exciting collaborations with brands that you  might not associate with nail polish, like Crayola and Jelly Belly. Their newest collaboration for Halloween 2020 is with Sour Patch Kids and I have to admit, I was kind of flummoxed and also excited by the pairing. I only picked up 3 of the shades from the collection - the most Halloween-y ones, in my opinion - and they're all créme shades, so instead of just swatching them, I wanted to do some simple nail art because... well, any opportunity to do nail art!
